Dick Cheney is a "Rogue Nation" [VIDEO]

Posted by Adam Howard at 5:00 AM on June 23, 2007.

Dick Cheney's decision to exempt himself from the laws of America can mean only one thing, that he is a nation unto himself.

In the video to your right, Keith Olbermann deduces that since Dick Cheney insists that he is not subject to the laws of the Executive Branch and since he is not a legislator or a judge, that he must be a "rogue nation" and we should "invade him". While this recent Cheney attempt to prove he is above the law is so ridiculous that it's amusing at first, until you realize that he's completely getting away with it.

...that the Chimp is the coward we all came to know and love...

Rove and Cheney are Shrubs brain and puppet. He could not make a move without them.

But more disturbing to me is: where are the Democraps? They continue to let these people be empowered and are essentially enablers of their arrogance. They are worse because you expect more from them.

If you or I had no accountability, we might continue to lie, cheat, steal, kill, ad nauseum too. Their cowardice has never been tested.

I like it - "rogue nation!" That's absolutely the truth, but you must claim Bush and Rove within that category as well. They're the unholy trinity of politics.

I predict that Dick Cheney will go down in history as being the most hated man ever to have been involved in the US government.

Please support Dennis Kucinich's Bill to Impeach ..

Remember the cynical put-down by Milbank of Wash Post, at the time Dennis stepped forward? "I do not stand alone," Dennis Kucinich said as he stood, alone, in front of a cluster of microphones yesterday evening." --- so wrote milbank.

Now, there is a chance to show Mils and anyone else, that Dennis does not stand alone in calling for impeachment of Mr Cheney.

People can vote in the poll: answer a simple, "Should Cheney be impeached - y/n"); -- and/or they can transfer the poll action button to their own or any other website - html code is there. 72,500 votes so far.

Not sure this is right (seems too good to be true, considering it could have been held up indefinitely..) but news has arrived that HR 333 has gone through to the full Judiciary.

Impeach -- too late!

Any doubts about the imperial president? The presidential directive recently signed which would allow Bush to declare martial law in the event of a “national emergency” — by his definition. Its duration determined by this same executive. So, it is no wonder Cheney and Bush are declaring themselves above oversight under rules they will write as needed, when needed. Who still believes we are a nation of laws, and that elections count (in any sense of the word “count”)? Impeach? Who in Congress even knows the definition of that? Impeach? I wish!

we have waited much too long to start impeachment procedures. But Congress must start something, anything, for at the moment the United States Government is the laughing stock for the rest of the world, no better than a banana republic. Law and order, democracy..?!?.. my foot.

...so Cheny's "above the law" doesn't that mean he's, in a manner of speaking, "unlawful"? He's also an enemy of the US Constitution and the general public of America (let alone the world). Then he also has a very "combative" style of debating. Add all those up and what do you get?

An UNLAWFUL ENEMY COMBATANT.

Cheney is not only a thief and a liar, he is morally corrupted. Isn't it about time that he along with the wimpy cowardly President are impeached. Haven't they done enough damaged to this country and the world! We have this war for one reason only to make Bush's friends rich (oil) and to make Cheney's Friends (Haliburton) richer than they were before.Talk about some pirates, wow, they learned their lessons well didn't they. They need to walk the gang plank.

We are living in an age of the constituional dictator which at first sounds like an oxy-moron. It is not. It is real and will lead to an imposition of a non-Constitutional dictator.

From Grover Norquist to Hillary Clinton we are watching the dominant political/social culture close ranks, give us endless war abroad, and the security State at home. It is a three-card Monte scam. Bush/Cheney deal the cards and the Democrats are the shills convincing us that this is easy. Then we the people get fleeced.

The solution?

Reject both parties and boycott the 08 elections "Oh my, oh my, that will mean a Republican White House and Congress" How would you tell the difference?

A consumer/worker general strike called to begin 10/10/08. The entire sham is paid for by consumers and workers. Take a significant number of people out of that equation and . . .

Conduct non-violent direct actions designed to show the world that Americans are willing to elect a President while tear gas stings their eyes, police batons clear Congressional offices, and prisons fill up as all the secret laws that have been passed are put into effect.

What's to lose?
