In the video to your right, Hillary Clinton receives some well-deserved jeers for a profoundly ignorant statement where she blames the Iraqis for our failed occupation of their country. Andre Banks wrote that it showed her intent to ride "to the White House on the white horse of racism." For weeks now Clinton has been attaching herself to this "it's the Iraqi government's fault" things are so bad in Iraq message and this seems like the first time she's been publicly called out on it. She tries to be affable and laugh it off, and her supporters in the crowd manage to out cheer the boos enough to make it seem like more of a mixed reception that an outright rebuke. But Clinton's poorly received performance at this conference highlights a significant roadblock in her attempt to be the Democratic nominee: the base sincerely doesn't seem to like her and they seem to really like Obama, Edwards and even Richardson right now. Has she totally lost her progressive credibility? Take a look at this clip and you be the judge.
