It turns out "Sicko" was gestating in Moore's mind years ago when he was making TV Nation on NBC. Years later, with a lot more clout and 9/11 workers in tow, Moore made a big splash with a trip to Guantanamo Bay. In the video to your right, Moore gives more insight into why and how he made that trip, ridicules Bill Frist (always fun), and talks about the government scrutiny he must now endure because of his rabble rousing films.

I am exposed to one more reason to despise this president and everything he has done. He is truly a lying murderer.

If this White House dares to so much as touch Michael Moore they will generate even much more buzz around the US release of SICKO

Moore is untouchable now as SICKO, his best movie to date, will generate energy that will keep health care as the domestic issue that will elect our next president

I mean, how much does BigTobacco, BigBioResearch & BigPharm pump into the American economy? seriously.

They've got their fingers on the throats of the lions' share of North Americans. & without medical plans or insurance...

Who cares?

Lets make a list. What if we made a list of all the people who are going to benefit from Michael Moore’s movie and compare it with a list of all the people who are benefiting from President’s Bush’s current policies on health care?

To me this is a no-brainer but to be fair all those who have received the “best in the world” medical attention promised under the Bush Administration, to include veterans, Katrina, 9/11, and those on Medicare, please sign in under Bush now.

Now, those persons who stand to benefit from the truth of the matter regarding their actual health care experience under the Bush Administration please sign in now under Michael Moore.

This really comes down to what the health care system is all about which is, “ First, do no harm.” So who has done the most harm? How much harm has a single individual, Mr. Bush imposed on other individuals, either directly or indirectly, compared to how much harm, Michael Moore has done with his movie “Sicko”? I dare say I do not recall any incidences where Mr. Bush actually took matters into his own hands and transported those in dire need of medical attention to a place where they could get the help they needed as Michael did with the volunteer rescue workers from 9/11. Already in my mind Michael has done more good than all of Mr. Bush’s “good deeds” in the same area. But that is only me. So, to be fair cast your vote below for who you know cares the most about your health care, Michael Moore or Mr. Bush.

i hope everyone will remember, and will share with everyone who will listen:
bill frist "earned" his MD by defrauding animal shelters, torturing, and murdering cats that might have been adopted and saved by decent people. he confessed to this monstrous act in his autobiography. i will forever hate the Harvard school of medicine (and no longer trust the "quality" of their educational system) for failing to invalidate his degree.

anyone who lends authority to anything that lying scumbag has to say must be either drunk, or evil like him.

i LOVE Michal Moore! thank you to him for having the sense and the courage to shine the brightest of lights on this country's greatest hypocrisies.

Folks. Although I enjoy your postings, By no means over estimate the basic "good" or intelligence of the U.S. Sheeple. As is seen by the exposed horrors committed by our "leaders" and "our boys" it has to eventually become obvious to all who admit there's something wrong. We don't raise free thinking, moral folk here. You can't "use" free thinking moral folks to invade and murder in the hundreds of thousands over and over and over again. For that kind of feat you need arrogant drones willing to mass-murder and squeal "my country right or wrong" and as for Mr. Moore's movie doing any substantial good, what will finally cause the whores who rule us to take note is the fact that big business wants to improve their bottom line by ending their fiscal responsibility for employee's healthcare. So they too are pushing for it.

Hats off to MM for exposing the disgusting state of healthcare in America. I can't afford prescription coverage and can't qualify for medicaid. Due to my asthma and respiratory problems my lungs become infected easily. Last time I got sick the antibiotics I needed cost almost $100, even augmentin, which is a drug that has been around for years. Needless to say, I didn't get the medication. Thankfully the infection finally cleared up after a long course of cheap amoxicillin. Now I never go out to public places for fear I will catch something that I can't afford the medication to clear.
