The Rubber Stamp Days Are Back [VIDEO]
It's astonishing how tough Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi's talk was after the 2006 election compared to now. In the The Daily Show clip to your right, Stewart points out that a bill Republican Sen. John Warner put out on Iraq War funding several months back is virtually identical to the one the Democrats enthusiastically supported last night. Yet at the time Warner's bill was being debated Reid called it "tepid" and "very weak". A lot of people feel that way about the Democrats right now.
