The Catholics have their infallible leader, the Mormons have theirs. Now why is Harry Reid invoking the words of the Pope to castigate the president's policies on Iraq and not his own, Mormon, bigwig?

This. And more...

The Pope is the only religious leader speaking against the Iraq occupation.

You don't see any Protestants speaking out against Iraq. Hell, the Protestants are all behind Bush and his crazy Iraq occupation because they think it's fulfilling their insane bible profecy. And forget abot any Jew rabbi speaking out against Iraq; they're all thrilled that lapdog Bush has America once again doing their dirty work in their expansionist quest in the Middle East. No, it's just the Pope who has the guts to speak out against America and its occupation.

Even this Opus Dei Pope calls Bush for what he is: an ass.

When do US Christian leaders speak out, as the Pope has
done, against an unconscionable War? Never.

Pope, when you talk like that, makes me proud of my childhood!
