This flashy parody of MTV's "Cribs" pretends to take a tour of David Hicks' tiny cell at Guantanamo Bay -- including the corner he sleeps in and his vacation corner.

It's not really very funny but it is in service of taking action. For a great video on the latest at Guantanamo Bay go HERE.

it takes the whole thing in a wierd, clensed direction. I remember interviewing Barbara Olshansky about guantanamo (she is the lawyer at the center for constitutional rights that represents a bunch of gitmo detainees), and she told me of her experience with detainees and what she had read in the FBI memos she won release of.
detainees covered in their own shit and piss. a guy who had pulled out most of his own hair, and of course, children who have also suffered mental collapse.
The FBI memos exist because these FBI interrogators were shocked and repulsed by what was happening and no longer wanted to be apart of it.
This piece is clean, funny and totally devoid of any of the terror of the place.
Yes, hit em with humor, but close it with a piece of reality. it should have closed with some real images of gitmo...
