Special thanks to my fellow Jew, Kim Wu, for the tip on this one.

Youtube filmmaker Andy Cobb, who previously produced the Karl Rove satire, and this Dem "Pussies" vid, is back with my personal favorite: a satire of Fox's new bomb-of-a-satire program, 1/2 Hour News Hour.

In it, the show's writers, unable to actually make conservative politics funny, realize there's one sure way to tickle that conservative funny bone...

This is about as funny as....

...Fox News Channel chairman Roger Ailes' acceptance speech upon receiving the Radio & Television News Director Foundation's '2007 First Amendment Leadership Award'! Below is a direct, unedited transcript of his 'comedic' portion from that speech. The "[Laughter]" effects mark where it's supposed to be funny. If you saw parts of the video, you know two things: it didn't play any better on video than it does in writing; and that very few people accounted for the "[Laughter]", trying way too hard to make him look good.

First of all, I was told I should do some headlines, so I'm only anchoring this, re-reporting. I think we all need to go very slow on this global warming thing. I realize saving energy is good, but I think it may be a trick to get our anchors to stop using blow dryers.

[Laughter]

A man in France was arrested today for using his car to run down a pedestrian. He said he thought it was Osama bin Laden. Ok, it was a mistake, but it still ranks as France's biggest military victory ever.

[Laughter]

John Seigenthaler and I are the same age. Look at how he let himself go.

[Laughter]

It is true that I said Britney Spears looked great at the Academy Awards. and I later found out it was Jack Nicholson.

[Laughter/ooohs]

It is true that just in the last two weeks Hillary Clinton has had over 200 phone calls telling her in order to win the presidency she must stay on the road for the next two years. It is not true they were all from Bill.

[Laughter]

And it is true that Barack Obama is on the move. I don't know if it's true that President Bush called Musharraf and said, 'Why can't we catch this guy?'

[Laughter]

Normally I'd say something like 'don't quit your day job', but in his case.....

Yet....now that I think about:

A Fox News Channel chairman getting any kind of First Amendment Award? Now THAT'S funny!

however, its interesting to note that in China, if you called someone a "blood-sucking jew" it would be a compliment

(referencing the twenty or so recent books that have come out in China on "learn to be like the jews" etc)
