Jon Stewart gives the Scooter Libby trial the Daily Show treatment with "Senior White House Correspondent" John Oliver reporting on the sophistication of the mass protests surrounding the case.

I.e.: This thing is complex and the fact that it's as damning as it is and has gone as far as it has is remarkable.

The best part is the numbingly obvious but seldom broached question over how chummy the press oughtta be with the figures they cover.

Digg!

looks more like Charles Krauthammer than Karl Rove. My own pick for Rove is Major Toht ("Good evening, Fraülein!") in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Frankly, as a distraction, the Libby thing is rather lame. I am still following the dirt going around this administration. I hope they realize most Americans have gone to college.

The Daily Show is my number one place to get the TV news of the day, but Keith Olbermann is running a close second. Tune in if you like your news deconstructed, and you're tired of the "normal" spin.
