On last night's Countdown, Keith (Edward R. Murrow) Olbermann discussed "obscene war profiteering" with IRAQ FOR SALE director Robert Greenwald.

As Greenwald states:

"It is quite shocking… Halliburton is being protected at the highest levels of government. They are paying lobbyists huge amounts of money. They are giving campaign contributions. They're hiring former high-level military people… David Lesar has made over a hundred million dollars, the head of Halliburton, since this war began - that is an obscenity..."

Check it out and pass it on.

We can not thank you enough for your courageous reporting, Keith Olbermann. As for Robert Greenwald, you are an absolute genious.

It's inexpensive and a great way to help finance folks like him who believe in exposing the truth behind the lies.

The tax on 100mill has got to be quite a chunk of change. All the taxes on all those profits being paid back to the treasury makes the total cost of the Iraq war go down. heh.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear this as a republican talking point in the future.

The whole war is oscene -- a horendous crime, and one whose whole purpose is to "profit" power in various ways. If Olberman has the courage to point out this patently obvious truth then he may be considered a hero.
