Bravo to the guest for calmly and reasonably pointing out the the complete idiocity of the suggestion. How do you even tell who is or is not muslim? Being muslim does not make you arab, and being arab does not make you muslim, and neither should be a determining factor is how you are treated. Like the guest said, look at *behaviour*, not ethnicity or religion.

I cannot believe that any thinking person, would applaud a statement like that (muslim only). First - only in Iraq are Americans being "blown up". Second - the attack of 9/11 way by airplanes - not bombs.

What about the attempted attack foiled by British Authorities? I question whether or not that attack could have even taken place! What attack? Where is the evidence? IMHO it was nothing more than a bunch of clueless idiots talking and Dick Cheney needed a "boost" after his friend Lieberman lost!

But that is my opinion!

This would not work as an idea. Pulling over people who have muslim stamped on their travel documents, fails to grasp that there are whites who have converted to islam.

The terrorists will surely use these people if racial profiling is introduced. Already the Belgians have had a white woman blow herself up in Iraq. Chechen 'black widows' are also white.

The best thing to do is to act on intelligence, to introduce sniffing technology, and to get really nasty with known militants (and there are plenty of them in Europe who so ar have not been put in jail)

8. insists that only the present Administration can protect us

9. issues “official statements” that contain scary words like
“Islamo-fascist” and moments later mentions liberals-
Democrats, hoping our gut picks up a truthiness

10.hopes that we are so scared we dare not vote for (gasp)

As someone who travels via airplane internationally quite often I have noticed that far more non-white people ARE being singled out in airports SINCE 911. It is a frequent sight in airports all over the world these days to see people of colour being pulled aside to have their luggage searched or have their passport looked over a second, third, fourth... time while all the white people pass through the lines no questions asked!

I am not Arab nor am I Muslim, but if I ever see a "Muslim's Line" at an airport or any other bloody security check, that's the line I will be in. When smoeone tries to tell me I'm in the wrong line, I'll tell them they don't know what they are talking about, and they have no business asking me about my religious background.

If someone wants to blow up a plane, they will find a way to do it. Performing searches, disallowing liquids or searching for "suspicious behavior" only forces them to be a little more creative and humiliates all the other passengers.

Certainly one guy in the clip was a bigot, but the other guy believed in the idiocy that you can stop this sort of thing with anything short of luck.

Just let people take whatever they want on the planes, including weapons, and if some asshole wants to cause trouble, a few knife-wielding Americans could put a stop to it in a hurry. If he just wants to blow them up without warning--well, there are many other places you can blow up 200 humans no problem. Subways, office buildings, churches, there's really no stopping it. So why invade every American's life trying to?

What we CAN do to fight terrorism is to take our military out of the hundreds of countries we have them stationed in, bring them home, stop engaging in corporate protectionism, stop propping up dictators and stop invading countries that threaten to damage our monetary dominance.

LIBERTY is the answer. What's the question?

This, of course, will probably never occur to the Republicrats or Demopublicans. All this legislation is not about fighting terrorism, it's about control. They crave control. They are totalitarians and it won't stop until we either quit cooperating or demand freedom en masse.

Chew on this for a while. As of 2002, before all this Muslim mess ramped up and more people converted to Islam, there were 1.9 billion Christians in the world and 1.2 billion Muslims worldwide. That only gives the Christians a 7 billion population lead. Stats to think about.
