So,

As usual, Chomsky states - the U.S. is directly responsible for aiding rouge states and supporting terrorism. And he is right, speaking at West Point he directed the focus from the M.E. back to the foriegn policy of the U.S. and got no contest from those military cadets.

So it is true, we are responsible for supporting terrorism, yet not apprehended...

There's only one side of this coin - and Chomsky seems to have a pretty clear view of it all. The rest of us can barely see beyond our eyelids.

I think the lesson we have to learn hereafter 9-11 and the assault on Iraq is still, "An eye for an eye leaves the world blind." If we enact terrorism to react to the opposition - then are we superior, functional, and democratic still? ...or has the tyrrany of war taken over?

"I have seen many things, in a lifetime alone
Mother love is no more, bring this savage back home."
- Brave New World by Iron Maiden

Is our freedom in America vital or nominal? Will we choose to direct our course, or let this house fall? We must be free from the tyranny of our oppressors. Corporations and neo-cons shall not pass us against our will into their promised land, this war must end.

Bravo, Chomsky. I sincerely hope your message got through to at least some of those West Point students. Five minutes and 20 seconds is not very much time, but for those who "have ears to hear", it just may be enough.
I´m sure BushCo would love to silence Chomsky, but if they allow him to speak five minutes here and there, they can still claim that freedom of speech exists in the country.
The truth that Chomsky can express in five minutes, however, cuts through ages of lies. May his words provoke many to critical thought -- and action.

nome hits the reality of the administration's mission on the head, and it has nothing to do with what they say. Unfortunately if their lips are moveing then it is a lie!
