Hey, why not crazy Uncle Pat for the "new" leader of the GOP. Check him out, foaming at the mouth over Al Gore being so damn gullible as to buy into the man-made climate change hoax.

There's a certain desperate excitement about the old Nixon hand's rant that typifies the emotionally satisfying resentment that animates the GOP's base -- how dare these smarty-pants tell Pat what's what?

Anyway, I love the way he just babbles on, totally heedless of reality, about how great the Republican party is doing against Obama on the issues these days. It's comedy gold.
