If I understand this correctly, the FDIC's balance sheet ballooned by $1.2 trillion since last September, but no one knows where this money has gone except Fed officials like Fed Vice Chair Donald Kohn. I guess that's why it's crucial to have someone like Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL)--seen here putting Kohn's feet to fire--on the House Financial Services Committee. I've been a fan of Grayson's for a while, mainly for his admirable work prosecuting Iraq war profiteers. Good to see him in Congress holding crooks like Kohn accountable.
