Let's not forget that the US is the world's leading weapons manufacturer, user and exporter, and that much of Israel's military wares come from us. Bill Clinton refused to ban landmines and GW Bush did the same with cluster munitions, both of which take horrific tolls on innocent civilians and have been banned by civilized nations.

The medieval sophistry of Just War theory, based on Aquinas's ludicrous doctrine of dual effect, emerged at a time when wars were fought with swords, spears and arrows. The sort of wanton slaughter of civilians we've become accustomed to wasn't possible with the technology of the time.

I long for the day Dr King predicted when war would be viewed with the same revulsion as cannibalism.

Israel used universal jurisdiction principle when prosecuting Adolf Eichmann. Belgium tried to use it against Israeli criminals, but then chickened out. It is time that civilized countries reapply the principle, given that Israel (and US, for that matter) refused to join the International Criminal Court. There should be no safe heaven for perpetrators of crimes against humanity. (BTW, I think that indiscriminate attacks using crude, imprecise weapons like those performed by Hamas also belong in that category.)

Israel never does anything horrendous except after getting a green signal from the US Administration courtesy of AIPAC! I am sure they used these and the phosphorous bombs on Gazans only AFTER BushCo approved it. When time comes Obama will also do the same. All the Gazans and the west bankers and the South Lebanese and the Syrians and the Iranians can do is to pray hard and fast that some day soon, they will have something to hit back with other than the crude home made 'missiles' they have. Palestinians and other Arabs and Iranians are not Injuns and they do not dwell in 'Wounded Knee'. The Gazans have not only heard but seen the 'good wishes' expressed by the Olmert, Livni and other Israeli 'butchers' in ACTION! If the Israeli weapons are so 'precise' and so 'benign' and so 'smart' as to kill ONLY 1300 and wound a (PETTY) 20,000 and the Gazan missiles are so horrendous as to kill (My Lord) 13 Israelis, then I suggest the Israelis exchange their weapons with those of Hamas! Fair Deal? No of course not! Israel and the US are someone's chosen race (It couldn't be God), may be JHVH's. Hence, they are above the LAW!

And where did the Israeli war hawks get these weapons from, the American war hawks (Neocons) the Carlyle Group, and their major investors are, the Bush family as well as their friends the Bin Laden family, et.al. And how/why do they get away with these acts. Because they are protected by their associated religions, the Religious Right Wingers, which includes my religion as well as the other guys religions. Both of these Big Religions are complicit with the Repub party. They get away with these acts because god(small g) tells them they can do whatever they want to do and be whatever they choose to be. Their parents told them the same things: 'you can be anything you want to be'.

If you don't believe me just ask GWB, Sarah Palin and Jeb Bush. They will claim that God talks to them. But I think their God is really the god(small g) of their mind and the god of their money. Their god tells them which wars to wage, who to kill, where to drill for oil and when/where to build gas and oil pipelines. Imagine that, I can't. But then my parents never told me that I could do anything I wanted or be anything I wanted. I was told to obey the law, do what the teachers told and say my prayers every night, to ask for forgiveness for my daily sins.

Under the guise of the Republican party there is a conflation of the Cons, the Neocons and the Theocons, a joining of Big Business and Big Religion.

'nuff said. It's really not all that complex. The complex part is to remember that the Bush-Repubs have been planning this since the mid to late seventies, and to understand their long term planning, and exactly how to stop them from turning America into not only a killer nation for corporate profits but now also a killer nation for theology. They are all serious and deadly people.

Even the most moronic imbecile understands that "unintentional" collateral damage will, not might, occur when bombs and artillery are used in densely populated areas. In light of this, Israel's intentions are made ever more clear in that their employment of new weapons which inflict wounds guaranteed to be devasting and often fatal would necessarily affect the civilian non-combatant population more egregiously than more conventional munitions. The supposed intention to avoid as many civilian casualties as possible is laid bare as preposterous by the use of cluster bombs, phosphorus, and DIME weapons. This "war," just as in Lebanon during the thousands of sorties flown against the citizenry of Beiruit, was intended to cause cvilian casualties and infrastructure, intended to cause a significant number of civilian casualties, as punishment of the Gazans for supporting Hamas. This idea was central to what the Israelis were trying to accomplish, which was to weaken Hamas existentially and, most importantly, to also deprive them of their base of support internally.

That, historically, this approach almost never, if ever, works, and I cite the London Blitz, the carpet bombing of Germany, South Vietnam, the strategic bombing of Cambodia and North Vietnam, and the Blitz of Beirut, is no reason for the Israelis not to do it. Useless and criminal as it is, whatever gains or non-gains they get from this, at the very least they appease the really vicious, barbarous, hateful segment of their citizenry.

Let's congratulate these Jews for their ability to outdo Germany's inhumnity to man. The third reich must have been a university to these people, to learn first hand to not only de-humanize but to destroy a race in the most inhumane, vile possible way. I pray that Israel will one day reflect on the treatment of their ancestry and vow that they will never again revitalize the persecution that was a part to their history.

There are those that care.
There are those that perpetrate evil deeds,
in the name of God,
in the name of miss understood justice

There are those that watch learn of the evil and do nothing.
There are those that retaliate in anger based on fear.
There are those that stand by the side lines and just watch in a stupified state of mental non concern.

Some realize the truth that oligarchical forces are driving the seeming insanity unleashed on humanity and unless they are "in the loop" of power their concerns and voices go virtually unheard.

Some protest and voice themselves Hoping to influence those that have the power to end the insanity.

Yet when the day is done, The human species makes motions of wandering in the midst of helplessness fighting for a peace they can't define as though it's an idealism. Yet it's not an Idealism to live in peace.
It is the mind-stream of humanity that is polluted with fear sadness and pain that releases the anger and continuous retaliation as the only answer that reinforces the insanity.

Until this whole state of being is addressed as a disease instead of social struggle there is little chance of resolve.

The welling of sadness can only be drained when the insanity of "justice at all costs" is realized to be no justice at all.

For the insane must be cut off from ALL access to weapons and resources and forcibly isolated and not given more governmental justification for any preemptive or retaliatory action.

THE UNITED STATES Government is responsible for Allowing Israel and empowering Israel with justifiable cause for genocidal actions.
Mean while the same nation is being purposely distracting it citizens from the atrocities it is undertaking.

People Of Palestine Please know, The people of the United states do not condone what is being done in anyway. The people of the Untied States have no control over our government. It doesn't listen to us and disregards any thing we want do or say. This is because it is a fascist Oligarchy. We here at trapped too.

Dubious? How about an "outright lie?" The doctor who supposedly saw these unbelievable wounds has been an outspoken critic of everything Israel does for years. Are we supposed to believe he is telling the truth? Or is he just another Western shill for the Palestinians? My guess is the latter.

Consider that someone, more probably a whole team of eggheads, conceived and developed this weapon and given the acronym DIME it has to have been Americans. Imagine the team meetings discussing how to perfect and improve. How proud they must be today at the success of their child.

Someone also approved the provision of this to Israel knowing that the only "enemy" of that country would likely be the surrounding Arab nations. Crowded civilian populations.

And, just finally, someone in Israel considered that the time had come to use it.

Hamas is Responsible for All As It Lit The Proverbial Fuse in Palestine

Wars should be eliminated and at present one religion is responsible for over 90% of the violence on earth as pointed out by an Australian newspaper as follows:

I am getting very tired of hearing Palestinians and other Ishmaelite crying crocodile tears and always trying to put the blame for what they do on others such as their conspiracy weavers tried to do about who did 9/11/2001 attack on the World Trade Center, etc. Screaming against what they call wrongful occupations when they are guilty of occupying Byzantine territory, Palestine which belongs to the Israelites [see Numbers the 34 th. Chapter in any Bible for proof of this, and their outright greed as they have over 98% of the Middle East, but still greedly want the less than 2% belonging to their sister tribe Israel] - its time we get real and put an end to this so the world can stop experiencing continuous Ishmaelite induced strife such as shooting rockets at Israel.

Solution, dissolve this false religion and rid the earth of at least 90% of the violence.
