SUE CHURCHES

Gay folks in California should consider bringing individual and class-action lawsuits againsts all churches who participated, esp the Moron Church, in the anti-gay campaign. Americans are now so dumb they think they can vote to oppress a groups of millions of tax-paying citizens. Any fool who took a civics class knows that majorities cannot vote away rights of minorities. Unfortunately too many Americans are uneducated and got BULLYING and DEMOCRACY confused.

Bring lawsuits against churches and make them go to court and present real, scientific data to back up their claims, toss out all superstition and myth as evidence. Sue them for millions of dollars, the money is what really matters to these anti-sex hypocrites.

LGBT and supporters, start considering a tax rebellion...do not pay taxes to a government that fails to protect your equal rights.

SUE CHURCHES that work to oppress you, strip your rights, and encourage hate crimes against you.

It is probably a sign of the times (especially in California) that a group can demonize those who simply don't accept their ideology, accuse them of being hateful, totally misrepresent (obviously intentionally unless they are really that misinformed) their religion, and it is supposed to be funny. I challenge that group to take on Muslims in the same way. Muslims are truly homophobic. There would be rioting in the streets. But Christians are fair game.

This was hysterical, made my morning--nothing like demonstrating the hypocrisy of the right's POV.

Native American apology Senate J. Res. 15, Status: Dead

Sen. Samuel Brownback [R-KS]

What this resolution does do is recognize and honor the importance of Native Americans to this land and to our Nation in the past and today--and offers an official apology to the Native peoples for the poor and painful choices our Government sometimes made to disregard its solemn word.

This is a resolution of apology and a resolution of reconciliation. It is a first step toward healing the wounds that have divided us for so long--a potential foundation for a new era of positive relations between tribal governments and the Federal Government. It is time--it is past time--for us to heal our land of division, all divisions, and bring us together as one people.

Before reconciliation, there must be recognition and repentance. Before there is a durable relationship, there must be understanding. This resolution will not authorize or serve as a settlement of any claim against the United States, nor will it resolve the many challenges still facing Native peoples. But it does recognize the negative impact of numerous deleterious Federal acts and policies on Native Americans and their cultures. Moreover, it begins the effort of reconciliation by recognizing past wrongs and repenting for them.

It looks like it never got out of the senate committee.

A little different in Hawaii. Native Hawaiian Apology Resolution is One Consequence of a 'Sorry' Congress; More to Come

YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO VERY FAR IN ANY FAMILY TO FIND A GAY MEMBER. WHY

are we doing this? This is insane. But.....this does have a purpose. It is to divide us politically.

The AARP is usually far right of where I am but their slogan "DIVIDED WE FAIL" is perfectly fine. The right needs to keep us divided. They know that they are a tiny minority. In order to keep their power and their positions of privilege they must keep us divided. This didn't start yesterday.

The right will use anything to divide. They keep their right wing tax free think tanks to the tune of about 1,000 million a year. For that kind of money you can purchase very clever liars. It is all part of the necessary business fo protecting wealth and privilege.

Remember they have the wealth to protect the gay members of their family. How badly is Dick Cheney's daughter suffering? Or Gore Vidal is living in Italy in comfort. The Gore family has seen to his comfort. I am sure you can fill me in with a couple dozen more that I have never heard of.
