Who is protesting what in an action like this? If I am from Missouri and join such a protest what am I accomplishing except to alienate more people against the homosexual agenda?

Which is why I favor doing away with ALL state endorsed marriage. If anyone wants to marry, let them go ahead and do it wherever they want with whomever they want. And keep the government out of it. The government should only endorse civil unions for all the obvious purposes that have been exhaustively outlined. Why in hell do people complain about the government in their bedrooms, but think the government should perform their marriages? Go figure.

brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and friends of those in need of support on PROPOSITION 8 had gone to the polls this would have turned out differently. You are not wrong to be discouraged. That is normal and proper reaction.

The next normal and proper reaction is to start the planning to put it on the ballot next time. Getting it on the ballot is in and of itself a gigantic task. Our nation is full of family members who only want a good life for all of the members of their family. They are the ones to sign the petition to get it on the ballot again.

They are the ones to be reminded to vote once it is on the ballot. If everyone that has a vested interest in taking care of their own family goes to the polls and votes, PROPOSITION 8 WILL BE OVERTURNED.

Should all of us have to be going through this? No. Do we have a choice? No. Then we just keep going don't we.
