McCain's Hearing Voices ...

Posted by Attaturk, Firedoglake at 6:13 AM on October 14, 2008.

McCain claims "I've heard the same things ("terrorist," "traitor") said about me at" Obama rallies. Seriously.

And they are helping him manufacture his own reality:

"I've heard the same things ("terrorist," "traitor") said about me at Senator Obama's rallies"

So John McCain is attending Obama rallies? That doesn't seem like a good strategy to me, but then again, I'm no Steve Schmidt -- and that is really "Mavricky." Maybe McCain is sending his six-foot invisible rabbit Harvey to check things out for him.

And hey, way to follow up with a request for evidence there Dana Bash, when is the next McCain "Dry-Rub" get together anyhow? Good journalism.

And hey, hey, more McCain manufacturing a new reality -- he sure did used to love him some ACORN, even more than we originally thought.

Much as I adore the cereberal Ms Bash I nearly fell out of my chair when McCain came out with this stupendously dumb remark and she failed to even to do a Couric and ask "Could you give us specific incidents of that, Senator?"

The Old Geezer is obviously being coached in flat out lying by the same bottom feeders that pull the strings of The Alaskan Breeder.

If Olbermann doesn't jump all over this I'll be very disappointed.

"I've heard the same things ("terrorist," "traitor") said about me at Senator Obama's rallies"

Maybe John, but in your case, they are arguably true.

REALLY??? Because yesterday I saw a clip of an Obama rally where Obama insisted that the crowd stop booing John McCain. Booing, nothing more and Obama made them stop. So, this is just flat out lying, period.

What a completely immature and stupid response. McCain could have acted like a maverick but instead acted like a little boy.

Even IF that were true, and it flat out is NOT, would that make it RIGHT for McSame to do it too? Since when did two wrongs make a right? Obama would be justified to say that McSame "pals around with terrorists" since his campaign employs a guy who collaborated with Saddam Husein. Even LOBBIED for him.

William Timmons, the Washington lobbyist who John McCain has named to head his presidential transition team, aided an influence effort on behalf of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein to ease international sanctions against his regime.

The two lobbyists who Timmons worked closely with over a five year period on the lobbying campaign later either pleaded guilty to or were convicted of federal criminal charges that they had acted as unregistered agents of Saddam Hussein's government.
