While lawmakers negotiate on Capitol Hill over the $700 billion-taxpayer bailout for banks and lenders on Wall Street, the foreclosure machine continues to crush homeowners caught in the mortgage crisis. Beyond the politics of Washington, one thing seems clear to many homeowners on the verge of foreclosure, there is no significant relief in sight from the government or Wall Street.

Digg!

"Bottoms UP" Economic Stratedgy to Start NOW!
Posted by: Purple Girl on Sep 27, 2008 6:37 AM
Current rating: 5    [1 = poor; 5 = excellent]
I am not an economic power house- barely made it through Econ 101, So the intricacies of the entire Web eludes me.
However, one thing which has always rung true is KISS (keep it simple Stupid)
So here's my logic...
This country was built by individuals who not only wanted a fair prosperous economy for themselves but for their descendants- hell they came over here with Only a pittance in their pocket and a dream in their Suitcase. And From that pure fortitude built an economy and a nation.Mind you this Was before Corporations. they not only built those Corps, they built the nation as one of the Worlds Super Powers and lifted Humanity to a better way of life.
Again Mind You this mind Set was established long before the Big 3, Oil Corps, even JP Morgan!
Thus if you were a foreign investor..who would YOU bet your money on..the Corp's who JUST lost all of your last investment...Or the Ones who have always paid off the Debt, increased Wealth around the World and Who's entrance Proclaims In Her Sweet voice...'Give US your tired , your poor .."
So boys & girls on Capitol Hill, The ONLY LOGICAL solution is to ask for the loans from these other countries, CUT US THE CHECKS (this time We will have actually co- signed) They'll be betting on a Tried & True investment!
American Ingenuity, Work Ethic and Perseverance.
Sen Obama NOW is the Time to Stand up for 'Bottoms Up 'Economic security!
We've Seen this movie before- it's called the 'Lincoln Savings & Loan Scandal, the Day of Wine & roses for the Keating 5'- the last time Mac and Fiends fucked US out of Billions of Our Savings!
Give US a chance to bet on ourselves, and poss earn a little Bank for ourselves- A Return on our own investment.
We will pay our Mortgages, Our Car payments, Credit cards, utlitlies. In addition I would suggest you request the Reciepent taxpayers spend a bit on a Middle Class type 'luxury'-like a new TV -obviously NOT a $300,000 Outfit! But request it is American Made (we'll Still be buying the cheaper Chinese stuff until at least we can get off our knees- So our Loan sharks will still have plenty of export income)
So Says a Humble 'Rural Mom' from Michigan!
What's your 'Just a Hockey Mom' Idea Sarah?? haven't Read it yet?
