According to a USA Today/ CNN/ Gallup poll, 55 percent of Americans now consider the Bush presidency a failure.

At no time during the Clinton administration did a majority believe that. Not during the impeachment, not after the debacle in Somalia - never.

I said it after the election and have repeated it many times since. "America re-elected the worst president in history."

That's my take on how history will reconcile the G.W. Bush presidency.

Not that the polls are in anyway reflective of what the historic take will be on the man. I just like to repeat myself really.

Ironically, the comparison shouldn't have been made with Clinton.

Until the present Congenital Idiot, by far the worst president in my memory was Jimmy Carter (notwithstanding the fact that I voted for him).

In comparison, Jimmy was just basically incompetent....sometimes out-of-touch, and definately out of his depth. He was, however, never 'criminally' stupid. He merely suffered from "White Heart/Empty Head" syndrome.

"Shrub" on the other hand, is a semi-literate, petty criminal who was put into the position of Cheerleader/Puppet by a cabal of criminal mastermind psychopaths (you know, like the ones Batman and Robin had to deal with). All basically evil to the core.

I believe that the Bushista Junta will be remembered historically as an "Evil Empire", which seized and retained power by illegal, Banana-Republic-style coup; and unfortunately, the level of catastophic, irreparable damage they've done to the country (it's economy as well as it's democratic institutional ideology) are at present, incalculable.

Amazingly, at the end of the day, I personally long for the "White-Hearted" incompetence of Jimmy Carter, rather than the morally and ethically "evil" brand of stupidity demonstrated daily by the present First Moron!
