I love this bitch!

Brad Pitt is putting US$100,000 of his money to fight for the right of gays and lesbians to marry.

"Because no one has the right to deny another their life, even though they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn't harm another and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8," the actor said in a statement.

Courage! And let it be known that I am in an infinitesimal minority who doesn't find Brad Pitt that attractive.

Now, before the Brangelina-bots go crazy : I recognize that Brad Pitt is a good looking man. He just doesn't do it for me. I don't get the bit, you know, moist just by looking at him.

Now, I loooooove his comedic acting. I loooooove his dadditude. I honestly love Brad Pitt for his philanthropy and his politics. He seems like a genuine decent guy.

Yup. Love the Man for his character not his face.

Digg!

Brad Pitt is gorgeous. He is talented; one of the best actors, comedic and dramatic, of our generation. Now, he has established himself as a spokesperson for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. If we continue to see the high level of dedicated activism, both financial and personal, from public figures like Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Matt Damon, Oprah Winfrey, etc., we may well see a critical mass occur that motivates all humanity to take a definitive and intractable stand for human dignity and equality. On behalf of the "have-nots," thank you, Brad, may you experience continued success in all your endeavors.

I have met Mr. Pitt several times, as he used to fly on an airline that I used to work for in his hometown. He is a genuine person, not a jerk as all too many Hollywood stars are. He is what I call a WYSIWYG person - What you see is what you get.

It is a gorgeous statement. I agree with it and will use this frequently.

ahhhhhhhhhhhh, Mr. Brad Pitt, your parents raised you well and taught you the Mid-west values that you have kept close to your heart and soul. God Bless you for being the MAN you are. Please give my best regards to your family (parents) and to Jolie and your children. I love you! and just think I am only 79 years young, how does that grab you??

I'm a bi guy and don't find Brad Pitt all that attractive, either -- not since he got rid of his shoulder-length locks in favor of a buzzcut (I've got a thing for long hair). But I say "Right On!" (Okay, so I just gave away my age with that exclamation) for his principled stand against Proposition 8.

He is a courageous man... why belittle him with your tedious comments.

When asked several years ago when he and Angelina were going to get married, he said they would get married when everyone could...meaning when the laws are changed to allow gay marriage. I like his principles. I like his politics.
