"McCain has gone in some of his ads -- similarly gone one step too far, and sort of attributing to Obama things that are, you know, beyond the '100 percent truth' test. ...They ought to -- there ought to be an adult who says, 'Do we really need to go that far in this ad'?" -- Karl Rove.

When Karl fuckin' Rove says you've gone too far, you have lost. the. plot.

Obama campaign spokesperson Tommy Vietor makes that point very well in a released statement: "In case anyone was still wondering whether John McCain is running the sleaziest, most dishonest campaign in history, today Karl Rove -- the man who held the previous record -- said McCain's ads have gone too far." Who knows what Rove is thinking? Wasn't he the one who smeared McCain with that black love-child thing? He loves any smear on any opponent, and you should always assume he is lying every time he talks. I try not to pay attention.

He also said that Obama has gone too far in an effort to clump the two campaigns together and prevent any blowback that Mccain may get for his ads. Rove doesn't say these things to appear objective. He's saying this to get the MSM to see obama's ads in the same light, which of course they are shouldn't be.

Karl Rove ALWAYS uses every opportunity he gets to push his agenda.

He's still pushing his agenda. If you parse his quote using RepublicanSpeak(tm), you realize what he said translates to something like, "the messaging was right, but the structure was flawed".

He said it as a person who crafts exactly those kind of ads. What he really meant was, keep the exact same message, but revise the wording so that it SOUNDS like it's saying something specific, but it's really saying something ambiguous.

Where ROVE was upset with the ad, was just a question of the craft, not the substance. I mean, really...this is the guy who came up with the Saxby Chambliss ads.

Karl Rove approves all of McCains messages.

Also isn't he implying that McCain only 'slips' a little bit and/or only rarely over the edge of 100% truth tested messages. Methinks Rove is re-framing all of us, yet again, in this message.

Or did he have a bad case of heartburn as he tried to eat his breakfast and thought up this message? Turd Blossom has a mind full of turds.

And furthermore, exactly why do so many of us spend so much time 'looking around' in this creeps sick mind. And he must be disturbed if he can get the Religious Right to align with him.

You all talk like you believe Rove cares what we think?

We have not elected a President since 2000 and he knows it. I believe that is why they are ignoring us. I think they are running for the votes of someone else and they are talking to them, not us.

I think Rove is telling the PTB that McCain makes bad decisions and thus should not be PRes. I think he is on the side of the CFR Obama camp. Sorry, but its the only thing that makes any sense. This election is sown up. To the joy of you who want Obama to win, I think your going to get your wish. I think he is the designated winner. Remember how this goes now for the past 22 years.

Repub, dem, repub, now its to be a dem. We thought it was going to be Bush, clinton, bush, clinton. WE were wrong, its Repub, dem, repub, dem. IF YOU KEEP IN MIND THE APPROVAL NUMBERS FOR BUSH AND WHY HE IS SO LOW IN THE POLLS, ITS BECAUSE HE IS PUSHING THE AGENDA WE DO NOT WANT. THUS, WE WOULD NATURALLY VOTE THE OPPOSITE PARTY, THUS IT MAKES SENSE THEY WOULD PUSH THEIR CANDIDATE FOR THE OPPOSITE PARTY.... so they continue with that agenda.... have you mad at the dems by the next election and then have their repub candidate win. Its been done before, we have seen it happen.

The only chance we have of anything is to vote in mass for a third party to send a message that we will not cooperate in this farce.

I think deep down in your hearts you know it too. You know we haven't selected anyone in either party since 2000 and since they have been successful without our rebelling, they are continuing and not even trying to pretend they care what we think. That is sooooo obvious.

Why is anything Karl Rove says pertinent? He's a criminal on the loose and a proven liar. If he's said something unfavorable about McCain, you can be sure he has some ulterior motive for saying it. I say LEAVE THE BAIT and don't give him the press.
