With all the right-wing finger wagging about the inviolate right of children of candidates and officials to be above comment, I thought we might fire up the flux capacitor and travel back to that distant time in the past when Chelsea Clinton’s parents were in the White House and see what the right-wing was saying about Chelsea:

John McTheusalah:

Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly? Because her father is Janet Reno.

Vicodin Rush Limbaugh:

Columnist Molly Ivins reported (Arizona Republic 10/17/93) this incident from Limbaugh’s TV show–”Here is a Limbaugh joke: Everyone knows the Clintons have a cat. Socks is the White House cat. But did you know there is a White House dog?” And he puts up a picture of Chelsea Clinton. Chelsea Clinton is 13 years old.

David “Ho Ho Ho” Shuster:

Filling in for Tucker Carlson yesterday, Shuster gave his opinion on Chelsea's role in the presidential campaign, asking a guest, "Doesn't it seem as if Chelsea is sort of being pimped out in some weird sort of way?"

Immediately after the comment, Big Head DC has learned, people in the Clinton camp were angered -- and the network began receiving angry e-mails and calls from viewers suggesting it was an inappropriate way for a reporter to refer to a former First Daughter.

Amazingly, Shuster chose not to apologize, even when the Clinton camp expressed their outrage directly to him -- until MSNBC bigwigs forced him to do so

Alicia “The Suetonius of Staten Island” Colon:

Seems to me that she’s more of a pawn for her parent’s ambitions than a beloved child. …

John “Humbert Humbert” Derbyshire:

I hate Chelsea Clinton.

Be sure to read the rest of Derb’s mauling of the only female between 15 and 20 that he doesn’t find attractive.

And then bringing up the rear, of course, don’t forget Ed Klein’s claim that Chelsea was conceived when Bill raped Hillary.

So what’s all this now about privacy and respect and all that?

Digg!

.... and the right-wingers have no beauty at all within them anywhere.

For the record. Chelsea Clinton is hot.

These people on the right would have attacked her whatever she looked like. That is because their own inner ugliness has clouded their eyes.

THE SO CALLED 'CONSERVATIVES'

That's what they like to call themselves. They are, in fact mean and selfish trying to hide behind a ficticious political identity and God. In Palin's case she threw her daughter to the wolves. She should have been honest & private. Sarah loves all the publicity, I'm not sure about her daughter. As a mother she had an obligation to shield her daughter. It was her choice to make the child fair game. It's not just about having babies Sarah, it's about taking care of them. Thanks, ANNA

Daughter Non Issue...But Sara pregnancy a Major Issue

Having a sister who had two children out of wedlock, first at 17...I have no problem leaving her out of the Parenting Skills discussion of Sara Palin. But apparently the shortsighted Media or Republican Smoke screening Loves that irrelevant tidbit.
I however am focusing my Wrath on Sara herself and HER Pregnancy!
The Plan Fact that Woman intentionally delayed seeking medical attention when she went into labor ONE MONTH EARLY and knew she was carrying a child with health issues- OUTRAGES ME!!!
Not only did she think Delivering a speech took prescendence OVER Delivering a child...She allowed her Desire for him to not only be born in AK, but her little BFE town!
No Medical Supervision, No Fetal Monitors, No Ultrasound!!! Just her 'mommy experience'. No two pregnancies are the same, and certianly not with the added complication of Downs.
Did He actually test positive for Downs or did she cause it due to her Ambitions and wishes!
Or was she more comfortable with the idea her baby died during child birth (due to her inaction) then to have aborted Him? When the death is caused by the mothers actions, Isn't that still considered an Abortion? was she Trying? Appears her Ambition generated Priorities Supercede Even Her maternal instincts!
This Woman and her callous beehavior during that Birth even Pisses Off Pro Choicers!
When did she find Out she was on the VP List?
The events on that One day, Screams Volumes about Who this woman is and IS NOT!

Wonder why you won't let those tasteless jokes die and fade away. Chelsea is a pretty young lady and is, apparently, gracious and kind. Perhaps those who keep those viscious remarks alive cannot appreciate any female unless she is in a red-white-and-blue bikini, feet wide apart, with a moose gun in her hands. Shame on you!

Does anyone doubt for a SECOND that had Chelsea Clinton turned up Knocked up at 17 the Republicans would have been ALL over that like white on rice . I can James Dobson proclaiming that it was the immorality of her parents that created the situation .
I haven't heard much from James about the Palin situation . Has anyone heard him comment on this ?

The man was absolutely correct to be concerned as to the identity of the person who put photos next to the columns .

NASTY CRACKS ABOUT DEMOCRATIC WOMEN HAVE BEEN STANDARD REPUBLICAN FARE

for as long as I can remember. The republicans claimed/rumored that Eleanor Roosevelt had a "black baby". The republicans embarrassed Bess Truman when they just 'accidentally' forgot to score the champaign(sp) bottle as she attempted to launch a ship. She went back home to friends and family and didn't come back. They accused Rosalin Carter of having undue influence on Jimmy.

Hillary Clinton was treated like crap every minute since 1992. The more they hate you the better person you are. If I could ever reach the level of hatred that Hillary has evoked from the republican party, I would feel that my entrance into heaven was assurred.

Maybe because of time and my age getting the best of me but I seem to remember some attacks on Amy Carter. I cant remember exactly what was said but I remember being angry that some fool would say something about a little girl because her father just happened to be president.

"Let us not assassinate this lad further, Senator.... You've done enough. Have you no sense of decency, sir, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?" Joseph Welch
