PR Watch's "Spin of the Day" for Wednesday was a grassroots campaign to rename a sewage treatment plant after George W. Bush:

The Presidential Memorial Commission of San Francisco is engaged in an effort to rename the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant the "George W. Bush Sewage Plant." The group has been gathering signatures at local festivals, events and city parks and has already collected 8,500 signatures, about 1,300 more than is needed to put the question on the city's ballot in November. If the measure passes, the new name will become effective starting next January, when the new president is sworn in. Supporters plan to engage in a "synchronized flush" during the inauguration as a way to send a "gift" to the newly-renamed plant, saying they believe this will be a "fitting monument to this president's work." The chair of the San Francisco Republican Party called the group's effort "loony bin direct democracy," and vowed to defeat it. A spokesman for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, which owns the plant, says that while his agency understands the humorous intent of the endeavor, the award-winning facility has been efficient at keeping the streets and ocean clean, thus the plant should be "the last place" the group should use to make a negative statement about George Bush.

Bush sewage, what a gret idea that is. Every sewage treatmentplant in the USa should be renamed for Bush or the Bush Crime Family. They canbe called Bush Sewage, for all the garbage he has forced on to the rest of us.

Or, maybe we should be the Bush Sewage Treatment Plants and Bush should be the sewage. And we are going to remake his sewage into something more tolerable.

Lets include his right wing religions into the same theme. They are the sewage makers and we are the cure.

I'd be ROFL if it weren't so pathetically true.

Why yes what better opportunity to put a serious historical event to a test of web interactivity. Of course an optional Bush dumping on Mt. Rushmore might be an option...

What a significant wave good bye to the worst US president in history.

Millions of people are fustrated from the disaster and criminal actions committed by this President to our Country. No one ever thought that a crooked/unbalanced President as this could even enter the White House Door. But Bush showed us... as Chenny, did all this damage hand in hand.... I think the Sewage Plant would be a lenient sentence. After all, shit happens.... and we have been shoveling it for the past 7 and one half years.

...The Presidential Memorial Commission of San Francisco is engaged in an effort to rename the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant the "George W. Bush Sewage Plant."...

I would like to remind you all...
enough voters cast their votes to this chimp not once but twice...
with enough votes for him to legally steal not one(1) but two(2) elections!

I always thought the selection and election of a president is
a direct reflection of the people the president is supposed to represent...
He is THEIR face to the world!
In the past eight years all we in the FREE world have seen is a chimp... wait... not a chimp, a chump!

First thing he did when he came to office was pull out of the world court,
something the US helped to innate and build!
The next thing he did was abandon the SALT and other Nuclear treaties.
then their was his [undeclared war on] science;
he dismissed Kyoto [with or without reason is beside the point]
declared global warming as nonsense, and
supported policy that purported their was no such thing as peak oil or peak anything!
while at the same time he was politically influencing/manipulating the EPA, NASA and other important Scientific Organizations!

We in the Free World were numbed, shocked, alarmed... some even scared!
We eventually we got used to it!
but no one really trusted anything from this man or his administration after this
[note; most of this all happened before the "new and improved" Persian Excursion]

The US[not Bush43] got a lot of "freeworld" sympathy after 9-11,
and all this chump did with this sympathy was to inflate the catastrophe for political gain!
His reputation as a manipulator/lier got serious teeth,
and worldwide confidence in US policy slumped to the worse its ever known/been!

A leader of the free world? ...never...
This idiot was barely a leader of yours!

It's actually very sad that its only now that your getting it!

I personally believe that sElecting chimpman to be your face to the world was all the excuse needed to extremists everywhere to explode a situation into another rightwing concept war...

The US should allow this man and all his henchmen be properly tried in the world court,
to face/answer for/to all the charges he's accused of.
You know, the little ones like;
..."crimes against humanity"... "Genocide"... "Illegally using using military force against sovereign nations" or "Manipulating and Manufacturing Facts" in order to gain support for these planned illegal adventures etc...

Now that would actually serve the free world and show us that our trust in leadership wasn't misplaced for the past 60 years or so!

All of these administrations actions to date have made the rest of us in the freeworld understand why they immediately withdrew from the world court as a first order of business,
and then it makes us all really want to take a second look at what "Dick" Cheney's Energy task force was really about back in 2001!

I must say in deference...
Your Freedoms actually made the rest of the world see these shortcomings...
its just to bad your press wouldn't tell you about em sooner!

Naming a sewage plant after this man is a bad idea... isn't really that funny either
