Many news execs have denied the existence of sexism in the coverage of the presidential campaign, insisting that they have covered the primary fairly and without bias.

We will be delivering the second round of letters to executives at CNN, MSNBC and Fox News on Friday, June 27. Make sure your voice is heard -- sign the letter below.

I was stunned to read that you did not believe that sexism existed in the coverage of the presidential campaign; that you truly believed that you covered the campaign fairly and without bias.

We will not stand for blatant misogyny -- or offensive stereotypes -- aimed at Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton, Katie Couric, or any other woman.

We demand a higher level of discourse from your organization.

Sincerely,

I'll sign the petition, but you left a media organization off: Alternet. The Alternet's coverage of Clinton was disgraceful.

Couric is a shallow journalist. Obama's wife is a non-issue.

Clinton is a war-monger struck in the Bushian mold.

Why can't you criticize (or in MO's case, ignore) people that deserve criticism or deserve to be ignored as they relate to a presidential campaign?

Is it sexist for me to call McCain a bad candidate with terrible policies? Is it sexist for me to call Rush Limbaugh a pompous windbag?

No? Then why rail against valid criticisms of other celebrities and celebrity impersonators because they happen to be women?

Sexist much? Different standards for different genders really all that "progressive"?

In the Ask Gwen Ifill ad it says ask any question, but when you go to the link it says, " As always, please keep your questions on topic."

So, which is it?
