Lawyers for former Republian super-lobbyist Jack Abramoff filed papers in federal court promising their client will continue to cooperate in a massive public corruption investigation, even after he is sentenced on September 4.

Abramoff faces at least 9-1/2 years in prison for illegal lobbying activities, which included plying legislators with things of value and bilking Indian tribes out of tens of millions of dollars. No doubt his attorneys are hoping that these assurances will move the Washington judge to leniency.

and, I would argue, 9-1/2 years is far less than what he deserves, but I hope he rolls over on all his buddies in the White House and Congress before he heads off to the Big House.

Interesting, that they have now documented Bush meeting with him at least 6 times, when three years ago, Bush claimed he's never actually met him, and certainly not in the White House.

Liars, all.
