According to a new poll from Public Agenda, nearly 50 percent of those who follow the situation in Iran say “the one” best way to deal with Iran is through using diplomacy “to establish better relations.” Only five percent favor threatening military action, down from nine percent in fall 2007. Seven percent support taking military action:

To be more accurate only 5% suggest threatening military action, another 10% suggest actual intervention (those would be the scarier ones in my book).

Stats notwithstanding, Bush and Cheney, along with their Israeli friends, will push for war. They don't care what the American people want; for almost 8 years, that has been painfully obvious. If they can't sell another war, they'll go ahead anyway. Disaster capitalism is the name of the game, and the war machine will continue to crank out those big bucks in profits for Bush/Cheney and their filthy rich friends.

I mean just turned to Faux News or the wingnut radio and you will discover that US is under grave threat of invasion by the 'barbarians'.

Perpetual war for perpetual corporate profits.

The biggest scam and welfare program is to take our tax dollars and give it away to defense contractors and other affliated industries to make obscene profits from war.

Welcome to the epitome of a capitalist society!

Maybe only a small number of Americans support attacking Iran AT THIS POINT. But after the attack occurs anyway, watch as 95% of American back "our troops", ie back Bush, Cheney, Lieberman, etc in their quest to conquer all.
