Need I say more? Now it's come down to official scrubbing the use and abuse of Tasers by law enforcement. From Ohio, a look at where the police state is going.

A Summit County Common Pleas judge ordered the county medical examiner to delete any reference that Tasers contributed to the deaths of three Ohio men.

All three men were in an 'agitated' state and 'on drugs' when police officers shot them with Tasers, and the judge ordered their deaths be ruled 'accidental' also that any reference to "homicide or "electrical pulse stimulation" should be deleted from death certificates and autopsy reports."

Five sheriff's deputies had been indicted on charges related to the death of one of the men, who also had a history of mental illness. The judge further ordered that man's death be ruled as "undetermined" and to "delete any references to homicide and the death possibly being caused by asphyxia, beatings or other factors."

Wow. Not only the Taser reference is scrubbed, but all the other kinds of abuses common in police brutality cases! My, my. And yes, someone from Taser International had something to say about the ruling. It's after the jump.

As of mid-April, 68 wrongful-death or injury lawsuits have been dismissed or judgments entered in favor of Taser, according to the company. The company has not lost any product-liability lawsuits.

Expect the deaths and misuse to continue - and we'll hear less about it if they circle the wagons. Soon we won't have to worry about humans shooting humans with the release of this weapon of nervous system assault from Taser (it was pulled from its web site once word got out about its portrayal of "the most dangerous subjects" as a big black man).

The day is fast approaching when robots will perform the most dangerous missions by engaging the most dangerous subjects...Taser and Irobot have formed a strategic alliance to make that day a reality.

Science vs. Adjudication

When a judge orders a scientist (like a coroner) to draw a specific conclusion or to delete observations from his report, the appropriate response is for the scientist to review his work as carefully as possible, and, possibly, to have another scientist review it as well. If the suggested conclusion is not supported, and/or the recorded observations are accurate and defendable, the correct response to the judge is, "Go fuck yourself."

I'm thinking in terms of stylish outerwear that incorporates a metallic mesh, useful for shorting out a spurious high-voltage electrical current that may "inadvertently" hit you...

WTF? Taser has seen fit to name their first human-harming robot the "iRobot" when Asimov himself in "I, Robot" has, as the first 'law' that robots must follow is "A robot may not injure a human being."

I wonder sometimes if these idiot judges realize that these "deletions" surface many months/years and come back to haunt the integrity of the justice system. This will do nothing to build confidence in law enforcement; rather, it will indeed backfire when the police need the confidence of the public the most. They will wonder why they are standing alone in a hail of bullets and their brothers in blue are just as vulnerable.

This story defies the imagination! But in the Bushevik era of corruption, NOTHING surprises me anymore. God help us! The police don't.

It is interesting and important to note that the iRobot cannot attack what it cannot see. Heads up, victims!

How can a judge delete evidence, make it disappear? I can see not allowing it to be presented, but deleting it. What will be next when the police are victims of lazers?

Why is a judge saying anything about what a medical professional can or can not put in their reports? This is an outrage and oversteps teh bounds of judicial authority.

Ottawa parents lodge complaint after son, 10, handcuffed by police
... Lukasz Gurzynski said he & five friends were in the midst of a noisy swordfight with sticks & a loud game of Xbox on Sunday when the next-door neighbour yelled at them to quiet down.

The children turned the video game down & then went outside for a bit, said Lukasz.

When they came back to the apartment, three police officers were standing outside. "They came [into the apartment] with their guns & kicked the door open with their guns drawn,"... "And when they saw there was no one in here, they hid their guns."

"So then they threw me on a chair & I have a scratch over here," said Lukasz, pointing to his back.

"They started questioning me, & then after they threatened me with a Taser & they also threatened me that they'd put me in a straightjacket & take me somewhere. & then when they were done questioning me, they handcuffed me." ...
Gurzynski said she freaked out when she walked outside her building & saw her son in the back of a cruiser.

"They just walked him out in the handcuffs. He was all crying & shaking," she said.

The parents say they were gone from their home for 40 minutes, & two 12-year-old girls were among the children in the apartment at the time.
...
Tomasz & Santana said that ever since the Sunday incident Lukasz has been "much calmer" & sadder... Lukasz said he has been having nightmares about the police raid & is startled every time he hears a door slam. ...
