John Murtha Endorses Hillary in Pennsylvania

Posted by Jesse Wendel, Group News Blog at 7:35 AM on March 19, 2008.

This could be valuable in both inoculating her from anti-war criticism and bolstering her claim that she is most qualified to be commander-in-chief.

Clever. If Obama does do better -- but loses -- he wins. If he loses, it's what he expected. And in any event he will still do fine with Pledged Delegate Votes, and end up ahead overall.

Assuming the game doesn't change radically.

Six months ago almost no one predicted the race would still be ongoing after Super Tuesday. That's why we have elections -- to see what happens.

Murtha's endorsement of Hillary Clinton will swing some Pennsylvania votes.

And the beat goes on...

Apparently the type of Alzheimer's Murtha has is immediate.
Too bad that he lost it so completely.

People like Murtha will come to the same conclusion which is in part why Clinton will be a stronger candidate against McCain and, most likely, the more effective President, Obama's inspiring rhetoric notwithstanding.

THE TORRES-VIGNALI CONNECTION is explored in detail in a congressional report that resulted from Pardongate, when revelations surfaced that President Clinton granted clemency for Carlos Vignali Jr. — convicted of drug trafficking and sentenced to 15 years in federal prison in 1995 — along with other convicted criminals and one-time international fugitive Marc Rich. The granting of clemency occurred after payments were made to Clinton’s brother-in-law, Hugh Rodham, the brother of former first lady, New York state senator and 2008 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Released in March 2002 by the congressional Committee on Government Reform, “Justice Undone: Clemency Decisions in the Clinton White House” details Hugh Rodham’s involvement in the Vignali affair, as well as the long business history Vignali once shared with George Torres.

The report takes to task top L.A. elected officials, including county Supervisor Gloria Molina, then–state Senator Richard Polanco, then–state Assemblyman Antonio Villaraigosa and U.S. Representative Xavier Becerra, among others, for lobbying on behalf of Vignali Jr., in light of his drug conviction and the fact that DEA agents long suspected Vignali Sr. to be involved in drug trafficking — along with Torres. While a member of the California state Assembly, Villaraigosa wrote the first letter on Vignali’s behalf on May 24, 1996.

In particular, L.A. Sheriff Lee Baca and former U.S. Attorney Alejandro Mayorkas were heavily criticized for lobbying for Vignali Jr.’s clemency. The report found the input of Baca and Mayorkas to the White House to be “instrumental” in the decision to grant clemency to Vignali Jr., who at his drug-trafficking trial in 1994 confirmed a close family association with Torres. Attorneys for Torres told the Weekly in 2005 that the association between the Vignalis and Torres has long since ended

so I'll say it. This is as much evidence as America needs if we ever intend to be intellectually honest about the power and presence of the doctrine of White Supremacy in today's America.

"Her experience and careful consideration of these issues convinced me that she is best qualified to lead our nation and to bring credibility back to the White House," Murtha said. He said he "whole-heartedly" recommends Clinton to all voters in his state.

These are the words of John Murtha, Marine Col. Vietnam Vet and member of the US. Congress.

If anyone should know that Senator Barack Obama has won the Democratic Nomination for the POTUS John Murtha should.

What's up with this? He said he "whole-heartedly" recommends Clinton to all voters in his state.

all voters - Wow!

Why?

OK, so can we agree that some folks 'up' south have not accepted the notion that Blacks should quarterback football teams? But they aren't racists. Only 'angry' Black preachers and those mean deep south ignant White people are racist.
Well it just ain't so.
When asked if they could elect President Obama
Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama and Georgia said 'YES WE CAN'

Murtha, Rendell, Nutter of Pa, John Glen, Strickland of Ohio and Mr. and Mrs. Clinton are fixated on their dream of making Ohio and Pa. the new Dixie. Land of the free and home of the White slaves. Think about it White working class. Black people don't own the big businesses and control the wall street markets or send your jobs overseas. Mr and Mrs. Clinton's NAFTA did that to us. We don't have to be bit by the same dog twice. Do we?

"Her experience and careful consideration of these issues convinced me that she is best qualified to lead our nation and to bring credibility back to the White House,"

He could have added, "but she couldn't manage a credible campaign to win the Dem nomination."

He could have added, "I've never heard of Obama." 'O who?'

C'mon Murtha. Children are watching.

"..to bring credibility back to the White House,"

Cheney/Bush were put in DC. in 2000 to bring credibility to the White House after Mr. and Mrs. Clinton had discredited the White House, White House, White House, White House,White House.

Think.

Yes, the Obama "honeymoon" is over. Maybe it is too late to stop him. Maybe not.
