Oh, yeah! I was eagerly awaiting the deranged reaction of James Hartline regarding the tragic, dangerous fires in Southern California. (See Autumn's diary and pictures on the firestorms.)

Hartline, a fundamentalist, recloseted gay man with AIDS (he contracted HIV from years of unsafe sex in bathhouses) today sees himself as battling dark forces in San Diego's "homosexual stronghold of Hillcrest," says the fires are God's wrath on the Homosexual Agenda.

They shook their fists at God and said, "We don't care what God says, we will issue our legal brief to support gay marriage in San Diego!" Then Mayor Jerry Sanders mocked the Christian vote and signed off on this rebellious legal document to support same-sex marriage.

And then the streets of La Jolla under the Mt. Soledad Cross began to cave in.

They shook their fists at God and said, "We don't care what the Bible says, We want the California school children indoctrinated into homosexuality!" And then Governor Schwarzenegger signed into law the heinous SB777 which bans the use of "mom" and "dad" in the text books and promotes homosexuality to all school children in California.

And then the wildfires of Southern California engulfed the land like a raging judgment against the radicalized anti-christian California rebels.

How low will we go?

Why won't they listen?

Why won't they stop their madness? The Bible says that in the last days, the nations will rebel against God until He can't take it anymore. Was it all worth it? Were the few years of sexual immorality worth the eternal destruction and earthly chaos it brought? How low will we go?

This isn't the first time he's erupted about God damning San Diego. Check out Is San Diego's Gay Community Experiencing God's Judgment - Violence, Disease & Death Overwhelming Local Gay Community. A snippet of his madness.

What you are about to read is the tale of an American community that threw away traditional norms. It is the story of an American homosexual stronghold in San Diego, California called Hillcrest. From daily attacks on Christianity to promoting pornography among young teenagers, Hillcrest's gay population has rejected all Biblical values which have been the driving force behind America's greatness. Gay sex clubs, pornographic book stores and social service centers promoting homosexuality now outnumber churches and schools in Hillcrest. You will almost never find a practitioner of homosexuality or lesbianism in the Hillcrest area who will criticize the sexual anarchy that has taken over this once conservative military neighborhood. The consequences for a community that has embraced a radical ideology of sexual anarchy and self-endulgence is beginning to become very clear. For the outside observer who looks into the heart and soul of Hillcrest, a fatalistic portrait of a neighborhood bent on self-extermination is being revealed.

For him to exploit the disaster of thousand being burned out of their homes in his state is just sick.

Jindal...

...is just another Dinesh D'Souza, Ann Coulters boy toy. Mayhap one day we will hear that Jindal is also a Coulter/ lover/ boy toy.

And they dare to call themselves christians.

Well, It's official Louisiana is now a 'red' state. The good 'ole boy network now owns the state. Bush and his crew of christians for satan have slowly and methodically allowed NOLA to twist in the wind. And the result is that via Republican Party chaos politics they own another state.

These people are frightening and will stop at nothing. Torture means nothing to them. And who keeps voting for them, why the 'red' state voters/ right wing christians.

Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity must be just totally delighted.
Mayhap on judgement day God will call them out for the horrors they have perpetrated. Catholicism, my religion, truly is a frightening thing.

And I repeat, this is what they call pro-life and family values. Can we all say 'Spanish Inquistion'. I wonder when they will further their torture agenda upon the poor people of Louisiana.

We just got them out of Ohio and they pop up in Louisiana.
.
May God protect the people of Louisiana for what they are about to endure via the Rethugs of hate. If NOLA PD was bad, it will now get much worse. Beatings, torture and imprisonment will become the 'status quo'.

They will take this country down one state at a time. Their hate is consuming of people who are not them. No wonde the Rethug Party is the party of the South and the right wing religions. The priests and Bishops of Louisiana are about to see what they have wrought. The fear mongering and intimidation of human beings will begin once Jindal takes office.

As if life were not difficult enough, the cretins and rednecks and religious people just seem to do all that they can to make it a living hell.

And we can all thank the torture and death for profits agenda of the right wing religious.

Camp Pendleton got burnt out, too. I'll like to see this fool tell the Marines they're a bunch of fags! Hell, I'd pay good money to see that and the resultant blood spatter.

and now, in his mind, doing the 'work of the lord' may yet save/heal him.

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Is Alternet making fun of a dis-eased mind? Please do not set people like this man (I forget his name) up for mockery. There's no need to report what he said.

There are NO WORDS in The Bible re: Jesus speaking about gays, lesbians

Jesus had PLENTY to say though about religious hypocrites and that God was on the side of the poor, oppressed and outcasts of all kinds.

Jesus was NOT a Christian! The term was NOT even coined until 3 decades AFTER he walked the earth.

Jesus was born-lived-and died a Palestinian Jew!

What got him crucified was disturbing the status quo of the Roman Occupying Forces.

Jesus had few friends in The Temple, for he challenged the job security of the priests by teaching the people they did NOT need to pay them for ritual baths or sacrificing livestock to be OK with God-for God already LOVED them, just as they were:

sinners, poor, diseased, refugees, prisoners, outcasts all enduring under Military Occupation!

100 years before Jesus walked the earth a man

Rabbi Hillel understood that the Hebrew understanding of Hokema; Holy Wisdom; The FEMININE DIVINITY!

Was the same as the Greek understanding of The Logos: The Word.

It was Saints Paul and John who first understood that

The Word was The Logos and The Way and that was The Christ!

It was John on Rubber Soul who intuitively knew:

"The Word is just The Way and The Word is Love"

With a little imagination, any open minded and hearted person would see that before Christ walked the earth a man,

He was already a She: Hokema, Holy Wisdom; the Feminine Divinity

Now, isn't that 'good news' which is the meaning of 'gospel'

Gays sin, God takes it out on his own...

In 1989, God became so angry at gays in the Castro district of San Francisco that he smote the mostly straight and conservative Marina district with an earthquake (while leaving the Castro district with only minor damage).

In 2005, God became so enraged at the sinful antics of gays in the New Orleans French Quarter that he smote 1,000 churches in Mississippi with Hurricane Katrina. (The French Quarter came through mostly unscathed.)

And in 2007, God took his anger out on Hillcrest gays by smiting hundreds of homes of Randy Duke-Cunningham supporters with wildfires. (Hillcrest was miles from the nearest fire.)

When gays sin, God smites his own followers! Is it any wonder that the religious right gets its collective panties in a knot at the very thought of homosexuality?

Wow! What an incredible power rush...I (a single gay man, with cancer, living on disability in a rented room in Maryland) have so much power over the creator of heaven and earth, the "King of Kings and Lord of Lords", the Almighty, etc. etc. that He has to send drought and wildfires to afflict the residents of Southern California. So much power over such a weak god!
I wonder what else I can make him do.

I'm not gay, but I believe a true christian should not judge anyone but himself. I believe the only way to stop these Evangelicals from trying to rule the world is to tax them just like all Americans have to pay taxes. This would make them shut up and go back the Constitution and the separation of church and state. Bush has this idea that if he can make a christian society that he can control the world because using ministers to keep their flock in order, Bush and his cronies can control America and help keep the poor from uprising againt his government. Just look at what has happened since Bush claims to be a born again christian, (which is nothing but bull sh't) He has destroyed our Constitution, our freedom of speech, heabus corpus, and hundreds if not thousands more thru signing statements all because God told him too.

As I anticipated this very kind of idiocy from the hardline whackjobs that seem to have taken control over my beloved state, my first observation was that the worst fires in all of this were in the two most Republikaaner & most heavily militarized counties in CA: Orange and San Diego counties. If I believed in a god, even a vengeful one like they do, I can only conclude, god's ripshit pissed off at his own and is trying to snuff 'em.

I hate to make light of very serious situations like this, especially to fellow Californians but I swear, when dipshits like this guy start spountin' off their unhinged kind of stoopid, I just can't help but want to smack 'em a little. Makes me wanna pee on his lawn or sumpin...

We are too many, we are too interconnected, we are too reliant on each other (whether we want to be or not) to tolerate this kind of bullshit any longer.

Poor, sad Xtians

really, you have to feel a little sorry for the sad little sheep. While they win a few battles, they are losing the war. Choice is still legal, there are brown people everywhere, the disasters hit them almost exclusively, they lost both houses of Congress and will lose the WH, there is Spanish on my Downy bottle, sanity will prevail, we are not a Xtian nation, they have no viable candidate, OBL is alive and well and calling the shots to the WH and we are losing all the wars we are in right now.

And even though they are working their level best to turn us into a country of crybaby, terrorized little girls, we are starting..finally, thankfully...to stand up on our two land of the free, home of the brave little feet and say 'ENOUGH! Your divide and conquer strategy has failed! I will not submit my 4 oz of shampoo any more and these damn shoes will stay on my feet where they belong!'

So, while they, once in a while and sadly, of late, are winning some of the battles, they will completely lose the war. So, Ta! for now.. off to Adam and Steve's legal wedding!

They are grabbing onto anything and attacking it. Evangelical leaders look like sociopath psychos when they say things like that. They aren't graceful when things don't go their way. And things are going to get worse for the Money-Changers, scampering from the temple like roaches, now that the lights are being turned on.

Like the Tower of Babel, the whole Evangeli-Scam is collapsing onto itself, as the gilded pious stuff their shirts with our life blood.

But if there's one thing that vampires hate, it's daylight.
