Here we go again. The party of family values really needs to do a lot of housecleaning; it seems to be up to 2-3 pervs a week that turn up in the headlines.

The chairman of the Republican Party in Brown County faces criminal charges for allegedly fondling a 16-year-old Ethan House runaway and providing the boy with beer and marijuana late last year.

Donald Fleischman, 37, of Allouez, was charged last month with two counts of child enticement, two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a child and a single charge of exposing himself to a child.

The WisPolitics Courtwatch blog has even more details of this sordid story and has a copy of the criminal complaint (PDF).

Fleischman allegedly allowed at least two 16-year-old boys to stay at his house and told one of them he could "smoke pot and drink alcohol" at his house and not have to worry about anything, according to the criminal complaint.

...The boys lived at home for at-risk youth receiving court-ordered treatment that is located across the street from Fleischman's house. Fleischman allegedly offered the boys marijuana, and one of the juveniles alleged that Fleischman said he could stay at his house if he ever ran away.

One of the victims said Fleischman allegedly told him "it would be cool for him to have two 16-year-old roommates and he stated he would even do their laundry for them."

Hat tip, Travis.

he most likely was told to embrace his sexuality by evil democrats and look what happened!

or: he obviously was either set-up or his actions were misinterpreted.

...to Larry Flint. Say what you will, there's nothing covert about him, and I suspect that, directly or indirectly, he's behind most of the Republican hypocrisy outings. 'Outing' being the operative verb, although, in this case, 'exposure' would do as well, and certainly prosecution is in order.
And please take note, that I make no judgement regarding homosexuality. It is a natural state, which would be open and unremarkable were it not for the homophobes who drive it underground.

I agree with KaptainSpiffy's assessment of the situation. Someone should contact Rush "the drug addict" Limbaugh and let him know what the Left Wing is doing. Maybe he could solicit some drugs, I mean money to set up a legal defense fund or maybe higher some young male prositutes to help out poor Donny. Those fricken left wingers, who do they theink they are; the Party of Family Values?

They say, those who protest too much....this party protests about so much....hum?! I can see being closeted if gay....It sad society will not allow a GLBT person be open & not hide....This other stuff with kids ,that is sad, sick, illegal not gay. 'Pubs clean house of your perverts, encourage getting help but say "goodbye" to lawmaking! No matter what party "bye, bye" .Abuse of power with children or anyone is NEVER O.K. tHE REPUBLICANS set standards,it seems, they can not live up to.What gets me is the cognitive dissonance among their followers."They all do it,they just got caught,,,," So sad.People wake up,these folks of family values need to take inventory. And,no, everyone DOES NOT engage in this behavior. No,...this behavior, attitudes,& denial your party is the party of morals & family values is false, power alliances w/Extremist "christians" is political power grabbing & there's plenty of problems with their "christian leaders." People look at the lifestyle & homes these "christians" live in.Christ never taught hate, intolerance, bullying, namecalling, being judgemental nor deciding who goes to hell & who does not.Read your New Testament. What you espouse the Christ said ,,,well, your missing His point. The message was/is LOVE. I see little love on the religious right.Hypocracy,yes,plenty. He who is free of sin ,cast the first stone.Remember? Humans have sullied the Christian message to misquote passages to meet human belief systems. It does not work that way. Stop prostituting Christs message to justify your hate. MArY BASOMBRIO
