Huffington Post has the teaser, so I went looking for the rest of the story and the text of the censure motion Rep. Wexler intends to introduce in the House next Tuesday. It is below.

Resolution relating to the censure of George W. Bush

Whereas President George W. Bush has failed to comply with his obligations under Executive Order 12958 concerning the protection of classified national security information in that the covert identity of Valerie Plame Wilson as a Central Intelligence Agency operative was revealed to members of the media, and in June 2003 Bush Administration officials discussed with various reporters the identity of Ms. Wilson as a covert Central Intelligence Agency operative;

Whereas on July 14, 2003, the name of Ms. Wilson and her status as a CIA operative was revealed publicly in a newspaper column by Robert Novak, and on September 16, 2003 the Central Intelligence Agency advised the Department of Justice that Ms. Wilson's status as a covert operative was classified information and requested a federal investigation;

Whereas knowingly leaking the identity of a covert agent is a criminal violation of the Intelligence Identities Protection Act (P.L. 97-200); ... ..

A joke surely. Impeachment then a one way trip to the Hague.

Wexler is smart to ask for a censure. It's realsitic and could happen. Since everyone is reluctant (too scared) to go for impeachment. All they do to try to impress us is to jump ship. That's not enough. So, I'll take censure. Thanks, ANNA

Censure is worthless waste of time.

Censure is just words, not going to have an effect, so just waste of time.
Time is the enemy, now they are trying to run out the clock.
That must not work, Impeach now. Please
Hague, nice to think about, but not realistic. I will settle for impeachment.
Can anyone comment, can they be impeached after they are out of office, I will deeply resent paying their retirement benefits. Not that they need the money.

Rod

Call Pelosi and tell her to put impeachment back on the table

(202) 225-4965 - Speaker Pelosi's Office

I called her office yesterday and said something like this:

Tell Speaker Pelosi to put impeachment back on the table. The Libby commutation is a mockery of justice, a free pass for crimes advised by the President himself. Congress must check this rogue executive. Paris Hilton has more integrity than this White House. She did her time.

Keep your message short and to the point. This sample is almost too long. If you can't get through today, try again tomorrow and the next day and so on until you do.

If you're not comfortable asserting that Libby was advised by the President, here are a few articles that you should read.

Yeah, right. After all, that non-binding resolution made such a difference...
