One of the most infamous architects of the Iraq War may have finally come to the end of his troubled tenure at the World Bank.

Breaking: According to ABC News' blog, Paul Wolfowitz will resign this afternoon [Hat tip: Howie Klein].

It looks like one of the worst men in America, Paul Wolfowitz, is finally ready to face reality (even though the President and some neo-con backers in the UK, are not). Wolfowitz was being pressured to step down from his position as president of the World Bank for a host of poor and/or inappropriate decisions. While I'm glad to see this day...probably come, Wolfowitz has still yet to be, and may never be held responsible or for his greatest crime: being one of the chief architects of the Iraq War

Focusing on simple nepotism is a smoke-screen. Would that the 'problems' at the WB stop at simple things like this. Why aren't the journalists, and European big-wigs, questioning the decades of loans to corrupt dictators, the austerity measures that have starved people, the credit manipulation designed to bring 'developing' countries into the USA/European run 'system', money that never is seen in the country to which it was alledgedly given or loaned, all the dictators living in splendor on the French Rivera with bilked funds, the relationship between the WB and the US/Europe's military and material interests, and on and on and on........

Why don't you throw in a copy of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion while you're at it?

Nazi scum like you are the best friends that neocons like Wolfowitz ever had, because you enable them to portray all of their critics as antisemites.
