After criticizing the US, UK and the UN (is there anything the American and Iranian right wing don't agree on?) Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced that the 15 British soldiers were being pardoned and returned home tomorrow.

He said it was a gift to Britain "to mark the birthday of the prophet Muhammad last Saturday, and Easter." The Guardian has MORE.
