Wrong:

A House Oversight and Government Reform subcommittee hearing Monday at the hospital brought a wide range of apologies from top-level Army officers and the Army's No. 2 civilian. "We have let some soldiers down," said Peter Geren, the undersecretary of the Army.
Some??

No, Mr. Geren, you've let down every soldier, sailor, and airman , not to mention the American public, which continues to be deceived by the ineptitude and callousness of the people in charge.

Had the Washington Post not exposed the atrocities, you'd still be hiding the problems in plain sight, sir, and you damn well know it.

Only the total and complete embarrassment of the Bush regime and the Pentagon puts you in the hotseat today.

Mr. Geren, again, you didn't just let some soldiers down - you demonstrated a total lack of commitment to the veterans who have sacrificed the most for this war. I'm sure that you're among the war planners and bureaucrats who continue to wonder why the press doesn't talk about the coats of paint on schools in Iraq.

You should be damnably ashamed, sir.

One wonders how you can wake up in the morning and look in the mirror.

Digg!
