What do you get when a Nation writer with a video camera waltzes through a conservative conference confronting (the following quotes are not necessarily exact) Michelle "defense of internment" Malkin, David "Cornel West is a black airhead" Horowitz, Grover "raising taxes of the wealthy is morality behind the Holocaust" Norquist, Ann "John Edwards is a faggot" Coulter, Dinesh "9/11 was the fault of liberals" D'Souza and more?

Watch, right.

Digg!

I'm upset and surprised that the Republicans sold out to 'political correctness'!! No doubt the rightwing radio talkshow hosts will be up in arms over the politically correct nature of this conference.....

I am distressed. I mean, fellas please don't attack some woman just because she only goes for one night stands. Really how disgusting can you all be.
I feel, in all seriousness, the RNC smear machine is in full tilt when they have to go down the road of manure spreading. It shows they have not a clue to the answers for our education, our defense, our deficit spending and our deep divide in our own country. Our United States of America is under attack by the religious right which ha caused all of the problems I have mentioned including a few I forgot.
The past 7 years have been the worst we have ever suffered.

At least the Conservative Conference was not held at a large 'beer hall' ---- yet.

Damn... You would be hard pressed to assemble a more deluded bunch of pinheads without actually going to the Whitehouse.
Malkin, Coulter and Horowitz under the same roof, isn't that dangerous?
Should there be a hazmat team prepared to clean up the puke that pours from the mouths of demons?

Very entertaining, Max. There is a lot of fear, insecurity and hate at the conference disguising itself as a political movement. You can smell the hyposcrisy. Worst of all, any well meaning and honorable people there are drowned out by the nuts.

That hate and fear loses power when we ignore it.

I honestly believe no one listens to them anymore. They are simply supporting each other. Many of those in the know about what works and doesn't work, didn't show up. They are simply singing to the choir.

I have so many on my email list who were supporters of GW in 2004 who are not now. They don't even listen to these people anymore. Neuter Gingrinch is out of the way and will never be able to come back again, so that shows just how far down they have gone.

Pay more attention to the christian orgs that went to Iran for peace who represent in their membership over 60 million people. They are the new religious right and they are against this White House and war against Iran.

Isreal is having a problem with all of it because they are no longer able to maniuplate anyone except the crazies about Iran. Lets keep ignoring these people and let them mire themselves in their own filth and just maybe they will suffocate themselves as it piles up past their nostrils. Given the level of vitriol, it shouldn't take very long.... LOL

Talk about a bunch of nazi's.......

Small minded, emotionally stunted a-holes; the whole lot of them. These people are retarding the evolution of our species.
And what's with the phoney black man?

These days on planet earth there are too many human bodies and not enough evolved souls to fill them. I think that's the problem.

There is no underestimating the general intelligence of the American public - especially in red states. And there they are. When I am forced to go to Florida (to visit elderly relatives) I take a long, hot shower when I get home to wash off the layer of stupidity.

Let's expose the truth about 911 and put a quick end to these mutants and their whole stupid party. They won't have a leg to stand on when the truth comes out. 911 was an inside job!

I always love it when conservative assholes refer to liberals as being "hateful". How ironic is that?

OK, I guess it's true, many of us--no one more than me--hates the type of conservative shown in this video. How do you not hate someone who supports a CEO making 500 times as much as the lowest-paid worker? How do you not hate someone who prefers for federal money to be used to drop bombs, while programs that feed the hungry are slashed and eliminated?

But it's so ironic... The people who hate immigrants, hate Arabs, hate the left, hate homosexuals, hate...well almost all of Europe and Latin America, call lefties "hateful". I guess you can't reason with absolute insanity.

...if she'd thought a little quicker, she could've replied that the sanctity Blumenthal cited was that of marriage, not engagements, and that breaking a bad engagement better preserved the sanctity of marriage than going through with a bad marriage only to divorce.

I'm no fan of the right-wingers, but it's clear that Blumenthal went to that conference to provoke, not to report. He's not the best foot for progressives to put forward. Give me Bill Moyers anytime.
