There's more of course, much more; but for now just listen to/watch these speeches of Martin Luther King Jr. and be silent.

The first is the last. Dr King gave his famous "mountaintop" speech the day before he died, declaring eerily (scroll down....):

This clip is followed by the famous "I Have a Dream" speech, the "Beyond Vietnam" speech, and finally Stephen Colbert's "I Have a Dreamsicle" parody.

I'm also disheartened that the only people against the holiday (an official act of the Federal government recognising religion) were ilk like Jesse Helms and the ACLU and all the supposed 'liberals' (using the American term) supported the holiday which is expressly unConstitutional. Religion has no place in government. What's next Rev.Graham day, Jesus Day, Judas Macabee Day, Rev Sharpton day?? Sell outs all who had to betray their liberal and Constitutional beliefs to support this holiday by political correctness gone mad.
