Two testify that Hastert knew about Foley

Both House clerk Jeff Trandahl, who oversaw the page program and House Majority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, testified to the House Ethics Committee that Hastert, or high ranking aides, knew about suspicious emails, that had "predator written all over them," months ago.

Boehner originally told The Washington Post that he spoke with Hastert earlier this year about Foley's e-mails to the Louisiana boy. He later said he was not sure he had told Hastert, and still later said he was fairly certain he had told the speaker.

But wait, nobody cares about Foley, right? It's all about Iraq and terrorism. Well, October is on pace to be the deadliest month in two years and Bush has even begun to compare it to the situation in Vietnam... Could it be about the environment? Healthcare?

Better put in a call to Diebold.

Speaking of Diebold

It should come as no surprise if the Republicrooks maintain their hold on either the House or Senate. Seems as if georgie hahibush or rove are not a bit concerned about the upcoming election. I'd be interested in the exit polls just minutes before the election ends...then compare the results against what the voting machines say! These fucking crooks it would seem have already got the election fixed (AGAIN).
Another upcoming issue, is the bushit administration setting us up with Iran? Just why are there ships on the way to the Straits of Hormutz? Rumor has it that they (the bushies) want to get one of them sunk by Iran (or by the administrations hand) so we can attack them. I would'nt put anything past these criminal bastards.
For those of you old enough to remember the "atomic drills" back in the fifties...essentially...bend over place head between legs and kiss your ass goodbye!

Nervous jokes about Diebold

Nervous jokes about Diebold are on the rise as the ground is being prepared to once again steal the election ( New Laws and Machines May Spell Voting Woes). What I want to know is what will be done should this fear come to pass? The corporate news is awash with stories predicting a Democratic rout in a few weeks, and I hope it comes to be, but being wrong has never stopped media hacks before. They simply change their tune and keep plugging along selling what ever they've been told to sell. These are the people that create the first impression of the election results and unfortunately it often sticks. So, what counter preparations have been made so far to dispel the expected media narratives should the election not turn over control of Congress?

Sad to Say

Just the other day I was listening to my friend and landlord, a politically savvy historian by training, gentleman in his mid-seventies sing praises for the movement that would trounce the republicans. He had seen it in the past, “they are finished, just like this and just like that.” He had ample historical references. Leaning in the doorway of my place, I just shook my head, “Yeah, but they didn’t own the airwaves, or the voting machines then.” He had forgotten that.

You can bet the voting machines aren't the only dirty trick the bushies have up their sleeve. The deibold option works best when the contest is a close one. This isn't the case this time, so be prepared for a nasty surprise in November. I hope I'm wrong.

Bush Makes Massive Land Purchase In Paraguay

Russian Intelligence Analysts are reporting today that the American President’s daughter, Jenna Bush, has secured on behalf of her father, the American President, and the Bush Family, the purchase of nearly 100,000 acres of land in the South American Nation of Paraguay, and which is also confirmed by the Latin American News Service.

http://arizona.indymedia.org/news/2006/10/51221.php

Five hundred U.S. troops arrived in Paraguay with planes, weapons, and ammunition in July 2005, shortly after the Paraguayan Senate granted U.S. troops immunity from national and International Criminal Court (ICC) jurisdiction. Neighboring countries and human rights organizations are concerned that the massive air base at Mariscal Estigarribia, Paraguay is potential real estate for the U.S. military.

Why don't the democrats go to court and order the right to examine the vote as it comes in?

Vulnerabilities of computerised voting systems

http://avirubin.com/vote.pdf

This link provides information on the vulnerabilities of the computerised voting systems which include:

. tampering with machines to change election results
. linking the voter with his vote
. creating homebrew "smartcards" allowing a person to cast multiple votes

These crimes can be perpetrated by anyone from malevolent administration and poll workers to security and janitorial staff.

STEAL IT BACK

This is no time for innocence. If we care about this country and the world, we have to be able to steal this election right back from them. We know enough to do it and I hope to hell we are not stupid enough to sit by and watch like the last few times. Exit polls didn't fly last time and they won't hold water this time either. Politics is so corrupt now that we have to be able to meet them head-on and beat them in their own game to get any respect. They'll cry, but it won't get them anywhere. Only when we get a foothold, can we begin to reverse the damage that has been done over the past 5 years. I'll vote and I'll pray. I hope you all will, too.
