On the O'Reilly Factor last night, Bill O'Reilly made the following charming comment about the blogosphere:

"I think - I have to say President Bush has a much healthier attitude toward this than I do. Because if I can get away with it, boy, I’d go in with a hand grenade.

O'Reilly also opined that the president obviously has no idea what's going on online.

"I know for a fact that President Bush doesn’t know what’s going on in the Internet. I know that for a fact because I did ask around." said the right wing talkshow host.

... or because its a pretty safe bet to assume that anything that requires rudimentary reading skills is something Bush knows nothing about?

Notice the violence of his description of what he would do.

Now, what could possibly provoke such a violent fantasy? Simple speach? Tells you a lot about O'really?. But nothing anyone who has paid any attention didn't know already.

Bill O'Reilly is obviously a dangerous extremist right-winger who has evolved his political philosophy to the point where he is threatening to "throw a grenage," at his political enemies. He needs to be "detained," investigated, secretly recorded, and probably needs a penetrating strip search for a grenade. Be sure and check out the big asshole.

If you listened to the full video, you will notice that O'Leilly thinks we are paid money to make disparaging comments about him and his butty, George Bush. Gosh, please tell me where I can pick up my first paycheck! I must have earned a fortune by now!

O'Reilly is bad enough WITHOUT a grenade. Does he think that the 'blogosphere' is a city with its own zip code ? He doesn't get it so I guess we're safe. Thanks, ANNA

...'if he could get away with it.' The sexual harassment allegations testify to that.

Let's not blow it out of proportion though. It's nothing controversial, just the latest ignorant thing to fall out of the empty head of a man who makes a proud career out of ignorance.

Not only is Mr. Bill clueless about blogs,
he kicks back this bloggers emails to him-

why?
because I have been doing what he and the 4th Estate in the USA do NOT have the coingas to do:

report the TRUTH about Israel and Palestine
and post video that did NOT go thru Israeli Military censors as is required of ALL Media.

The following is excerpted from todays blog:

Just before my first journey to Israel and Palestine in June 2005, a Palestinian American warned me, "Don’t visit Vanunu, if you see him, don’t speak to him. He's not allowed to speak to foreigners and you could cause him trouble."

I responded, "OK, I won't track him down, but Jerusalem is a small town and if our paths cross, I will speak to him. What kind of government is that, that will tell a human being who they can and cannot talk with?"

"Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression…to receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers."- Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which Israel agreed to uphold.

On May 14, 1948 The Declaration of the establishment of Israel affirmed:

"One the day of the termination of the British mandate and on the strength of the United Nations General Assembly declare The State of Israel will be based on freedom, justice and peace as envisaged by the prophets of Israel: it will ensure complete equality of social and political rights to all its inhabitants irrespective of religion it will guarantee freedom of religion [and] conscience and will be faithful to the Charter of the United Nations."

Naturally, he's hoping to incite folks to buy it.

Sure, he'd like to see our country overrun with Nazis, but failing that, his goal is to remain on the Best Seller's List.

Want to know why the First Amendment is so special and precious, and why all Americans should periodically read the Constitution? Look no farther than Bill O'Reilly.

It's pretty easy for this disgusting fat boy to say what he would do if somebody disagreed with him, while he's sexually assaulting some female staff member! This man is a disgusting joke, only not a funny one. The law only apply to whom he says, not to himself nor his fellow criminal Republicon buddies. I'd let him sit in a 6'x8' prison cell for a couple of years and see if his brain could wrap around reality a little better than it does now. It couldn't get any worse... or could it?

O'Reilly Opposes Freedom of Speech

Current rating: Not yet rated    [1 = poor; 5 = excellent]
From Bill O'Reilly's page on the FoxNews site (10/27/06), tape of an upcoming Oprah show:

"UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We can't legislate what freedom of speech allows. Freedom means freedom. Say what you want to say and someone else can decide.

"O'REILLY: This is important. That's bull. I'll tell you why.

"UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Freedom is bull?

"O'REILLY: No. It's not freedom. You can hide behind freedom all day long. Responsibility goes along with freedom, sir, with all due respect."

So, O'Reilly does not believe in the marketplace of ideas espoused by more than one of this nation's Founding Fathers. Does that mean he also believes there should be no freedom of the press? What other freedoms does he oppose in the name of "responsibility"? Does that include the wingnut favorite: a "right" to bear arms? Since when does anyone get to pick & chose which freedoms allowed by the Constitution can actually be exercised? Once again, the Right shows itself as a Taliban in Christian drag.
