What the hell is going on here? I can't say it was terribly shocking to see Fox's Bill O'Reilly repeatedly mislabel Mark Foley as a Democrat... three times. Wishful thinking can be a powerful motivator.

Then AP mislabeled Foley that very same day. Curious... verrrrrry curious. But okay. Coincidences. Laziness. Cribbing from other sources. Maybe. Holding out hope...

Now I've had it.

In one of my right wing buffoon-site emails -- Newsmax, to be exact -- was this, familiar, error:

But hey, it could just be that the two sites are close pals and share information, right? Or maybe that's the problem...

***

And just so you're not behind on the very latest. Here's what's up:

Eric Boehlert talks about why the Miami Herald, which knew about the Foley story months ago, sat on one of the biggest stories in Florida history, HERE.

Ken Silverstein, a Harper's writer approached with the story months ago, debunks the B.S. about the Foley scandal being a Democratic "October Surprise," HERE.

Laura Flanders: Vanity Fair's Retort to the New Yorker's Obama Cover Misses the Mark
If Vanity Fair wanted to flip the New Yorker cover on the GOP, they'd have to portray the media's lies about the candidate. Not the true stuff.

A Republican cannot distinguish a lie from a truth?

It is not possible that well-known public apologists for the right wing would stoop so low as to try to mislead those who are so demented as not to notice the *mistaken* assignment of Foley to the Democrats, is it?

Well, O'Reilly, so I hear, does take it on himself to decide who is an American and who is not. And who is honest and who is not. And who is good and who is not.

I thought only a god could do that last one. Does O'Reilly think he is God? Now, if he only said he was Napoleon, I could grant him that.

Do you reporters get special hazard pay for keeping track of the ravers in your own profession? Oh, I see. All fit that description, since it is Americans who cannot distinguish a lie from truth.

Of course all of these labelings of Foley as a Democrat are intentional and an attempt to mislead the gullible. Those who get their news from sources such as Fox, O'Reilly, Limbaugh and such don't bother to check and see if it is correct. They just accept it as gospel.

O'Rielly, Limpbaugh, and Hannity blatently lie on a regular basis. How anyone could believe anything they say has puzzled me for as long as they have been broadcasting. Are the people that watch or listen to that trash that opiated? Wake up America!!!! Read a real newspaper or do some research. THINK!!!!! Use your head.
