This time, it's on their show "The Beltway Boys." Have these boys ever actually been in the Beltway? Perhaps if they had, they'd know that Senator Chafee is a Republican.

What?! You expect the clowns at FOX to check their facts?! That would take precious time away from "creative journalism" – a.k.a., lying.

What is even more pathetic than the noxious expectorations of FOX commentators, is that there are far too many people who believe their bilge, even when confronted with overwhelming truth to the contrary. How can we expect to maintain a democracy with such a dumb population? (Which may also explain the motive behind the Bush administration's aversion to science.)

How desperate must they be to keep doing this? Dems oughta sue. Why can they get fined for swear words or racy content, but not this? Basically, there is no excuse for this. It's either on purpose, which is pretty devious, or it's a result of incompetence. Both make FauxNews look even worse than they already are, if that's at all possible.

.......unless they immediately become "fair and balanced." Which is about as likely as Hitler turning Jewish.

You think, with everything going against the Republicans, what genius plan will they have to get voters back, and then they come up with that? I'm no Carl Rove but for their sake I hope they have at least a war or two (or a bin Laden tape) planned before the elections.

Am I stating the obvious when I say the reason FOX is repeatedly stating Foley is a Democrat is to convince their brain-dead viewers into believing he is so they'll vote Republican? That is just wrong on so many levels. If I was a Repub and watched FOX, I would be offended that they would think I'm that stupid...wait...their viewers ARE that stupid.

Nevermind.

Fox isn't the only representative of the news media to screw up. The Washington bureau of the Baltimore Sun issued a list of politicians running for office on a national level and stating and identifying ones who are in trouble. In Maryland, Michael Steele a Rep. is running against Ben Cardin, Dem. Cardin is leading by a considerable margin. Steele is identified as a Democrat. At present he is the Lt. Gov. of Maryland under Earlich, another Rep. The Sun is a liberal leaning paper (ask O'Reilly) so I don't think it was intentional. By the same token I did not see a correction posted. Go Figure.
