From Ohio University:

More than a third of the American public suspects that federal officials assisted in the 9/11 terrorist attacks or took no action to stop them so the United States could go to war in the Middle East, according to a new Scripps Howard/Ohio University poll.

From a tipster, comes this unscientific MSNBC poll on 9/11 conspiracy threories:

WRL-taxes

Whatever the truth of 9/11, from active involvement to passive agreements to bungling to good ol' fashioned complexity and bureaucracy, one thing's for sure: the opacity of this administration is making more and more Americans distrust those who represent them. As we lose faith and a common reality we lose the mechanism of America that enables us to seek the life we want.

Which sucks.

Digg!

My grandfather, a very wise man, who was also a true populist and who never trusted most governments, always said that our political rulers always lie, but, that, at the end of the day, "all the bodies will come up from the bottom of the lake" He would probably be at the leading edge of us 911 truth-seekers.
It would not surprise me if the 58% majority would soon reach major proportions. Question: Then what??

I think when you send in your brother, the day after, to remove valuable evidence that could have possibly answered most questions regarding what made those buildings fall--the hairs on our collective necks begin to rise. Sorry--tampering with evidence immediately following such a national horror--tells me you 'kinda' had a plan beforehand.

Not too much coverage of Marv et al removing this evidence, was there??

,,,as a resident of New York State, and citizen of the United States, it sucks that none of those elected (of either party) to provide needed protections acted in good faith on 9-11 and in the cleanup thereafter. Where was Spitzer after 9-11? Why didn’t he investigate?

,,,as a taxpayer it sucks to know that a portion of my taxes goes into the bi-partisan killing of innocent people around the world, and that as a result there is blood on my hands, too.

,,,as a father, it sucks to know the world I’m leaving my kids has turned to shit on my watch, as a result of the government we have thanks to none other than both parties.

,,,as a human being, it sucks to understand that human intelligence is an oxymoron, especially given what we are doing to the world we depend upon for life itself.

,,,as an American, it sucks to be ashamed of what our country has become—which is a ruthless and imperialistic nation in spite of our proclamations to the contrary—again, thanks to both parties.

,,,as a veteran, it sucks to understand that friends and relatives have been killed and intentionally--yes, intentionally— exposed to unnecessary life-threatening risks by our government, as they did during Vietnam and are still doing today around the world, as our imperialism is a bipartisan problem.

,,,it sucks to know our government continues to lie while veterans and others die without care or concern from Agent Orange (yes, still) and other horrible illnesses from depleted uranium contamination (yielding problems from now until the end of time).

,,,as a nobody—it sucks that so few seem to be paying attention or giving much thought to any of this—that we seem to be collectively in some kind of a stupor.

You’re right, Evan—it sucks.

Regards,,,John

Also, one of the Bush Criminals (Marv?) had access to certain floors within the month prior to the collapse. People were not allowed to be in certain offices for a few days. the theory is that he or someone set demolition explosives in the three! buildings which collapsed. if you look closely at the film of the collapsing buildings, you can see puffs of smoke come out the windows just as in a professional demolition. then the buildings fall straight down as if demolished professionally; also thermate (a demolition explosive) was found in the basement of the buildings which collapsed. why did the 3rd building collapse; it was not hit by anything? was the other plane supposed to fly into this third building but instead was downed by HEROES in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania? but the demolition explosives had already been irretreivably set to explode? Trust me, the neocons, including the criminals in the white house, were in on this whole 9/11 horror show. There is a film with all this information, pointing out these questionable issues about the buildings going down.

Actually, it's a very good thing that "most Americans distrust those who [mis]represent them." They damn well should - surely we learned that back during the Viet Nam war? Or did you forget?

Both parties, indeed. Second that.

Theorizing conspiracy hardly even necessary

Apart from the general difficulty many people have believing that groups of four and five men armed only with boxcutters could successfully take over four airplanes and pilot three of them precisely into specific targets while flying at close to maximum throttle, there will always be one simple fact that raises alarm bells. Where were the jet interceptors? A lack of interceptors tailing the first plane could perhaps be forgiven, but what about the other three planes? There was a lot of potential response time between the impacts.

In the weeks following the tragic day, I spent a lot of time on the Internet looking for reporters' questions on this issue. Few dared to ask. When the question of the lack of interceptors was asked, administration officials generally wouldn't give an answer, preferring to bounce back another question along the lines of "Would you ever choose to shoot down an airliner full of innocent people?" But shooting down and intercepting are seperate issues. This is not a valid reason for not intercepting the hijacked planes. Generally, interception is done in order to gain direct visual information on what is happening in the cockpit of an off-course plane. So why didn't the air defence people want such information on that day?

And why didn't anyone lose their job if the lack of interceptors was simply a case of being asleep at the wheel? It seems like either a blatent case of extreme incompetence or else some sort of conspiracy involving the air command on that day. Of course we all know who was famously accused of "standing down" the air response. And then, the issue sort of faded away.

To me it seems easier to begin seeking the truth here rather than trying to prove, with limited evidence, that the buildings were demolished by wired explosives.
