It's okay, they know their way around a phone line...

You're well aware by now that your privacy is terribly compromised by the empty suits in the Bush administration.

In the name of combatting terrorism the government is willing to go to any length, listen in on any conversation, for you, its charges.

So now that the government seems prepared to take over the 1-800-SUICIDE hotline by starving it of already allocated money, well, I'm not feeling confident.

As the Save 1-800-SUICIDE page notes, "teenage suicide [is] the 3rd leading cause of death between 18 to 24 year olds [and]almost 2 million callers have reached help and hope over the last 8 years."

If the nonprofit fails to receive the government funding it's been promised it'll either close down... or reopen as your federal government. I tend to agree with the suicide hotline people when they warn: "our government should not be in the business having access to this private and sensitive information!" (save1800suicide)

Digg!

The rogue US government is being run by people who know exactly what they're doing.

OMG, ARE THEY ACTUALLY SCREENING AMERICANS TO SEEK OUT THE MOST DESPARATE OF US???
AND IS SOMEONE ACTUALLY ASKING IN COMMENTS ABOVE, WHY THEY WOULD BE INTERESTED IN THIS??
ARE WE AS A NATION SO COMFY AND COZY THAT EVEN WITH OUR SPEILBERG IMAGINATIONS, WE CANNOT EVEN CONNECT THE DOTS HERE...
DONT YOU THINK OSAMA AND HIS BUDDIES, (IF THEY ARE ANYTHING BUT EMPLOYEES OF THE USA)... DONT YOU THINK ALL TERRORISTS ORGS SEEK OUT THE MOST DESPARATE AMONG THEIR RANKS, TO DECIDE WHO TO EMPLOY AS SUICIDE BOMBERS?
SO DO AMERICANS STILL THINK THEYRE NOT PLANNING FOR WIDESPREAD TERRORISM ON AMERICAN SOIL, PITTING US AGAINST ONE ANOTHER, RACIALLY, SEXUALLY, POLITICALLY, ARE THEY NOT BOMBING CHURCHES, ABORTION CLINICS,
OMG,
WHY THE GOVT WOULD BE INTERESTED IN THIS TOPIC, TO ME, IS EERIE AND OBVIOUS.
SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME IM WRONG, IVE NEVER WANTED SO BADLY TO BE WRONG ABOUT SOMETHING AS I HAVE BEEN ABOUT ALMOST EVERYTHING SINCE A NOT SO LONG AGO SEPTEMBER MORNING.
