I've been looking through some of the images from Bush's European Vacation, and I just feel so desperately sorry for German Chancellor Angela Merkel for having to put up with such an onslaught of absolute nonsense from Bush.

Arrival in Stralsund, July 13: Bush grabs her and plants a wet one on her.

She then has to pose behind him like a school marm while he signs the golden book looking for all the world like my 11-year-old nephew when he really concentrates on something.

Later that day: Merkel forces a grin as Bush the Boob "demonstrates how to eat a Bismarck herring."

Bush spends the rest of the day nattering about a pig, then goes at it while Merkel futilely struggles to retain some dignity befitting world leaders.

And then, to add injury to insult, she had to withstand today's Gropefest at the G8.

After all that, I honestly think if I'd been in her position I would have hauled off and kicked him straight in the nuts today. This is only one of many reasons why I am not the Chancellor of Germany.

She's had a tough time of it since coming into office. Remember early on, when the tabloids & the blogosphere insisted on publishing a photo of her naked butt? Then she has to put up with the inappropriate behavior of this yahoo. She's borne all of this out with a good deal of dignity. Remember that word, America?

I think Merkel gets off pretty light. After all, whenever Bush meets back up with his sweater buddy Tony Blair he drops to his knees and administers a nice sloppy b******. That can't be much fun.

Merkel should not have put up with his bullshit. Hell she's German's Chancellor and he's the POTUS. She's on equal footing with him and was elected not, you know, appointed.

He is a tasteless, unprofessional, creepy boob! Even his father knows that! FBOTUS, Frat Boy of the United States.

yecccch!

Too bad she's such a lady - Golda Meier woulda kicked him in the balls. Merkel probably advisded her staff to do nothing if, perchance, the pigshit president choked on a piece of hog. The Heimlich maneuver was definitely off the table for this schmuck!

This 'love affair' all started when Merkel first met Dumbya

Merkel after her razor thin election into a coalition with the opposition was reported to be very excited about meeting 'a fellow conservative' Bush. I remember seeing the photos and video of that sorry encounter, before and after. Before the meeting, they're all smiles in front of the camera. Bush is pushing his Iraq coalition nonsense in Deutschland before the media. Well, the after pictures said it all. Merkel is wearing a look that says 'I can't believe this!'. The story she feeds the media is cordial, no agreements, we had a pleasant talk. Reporters report Merkel felt Bush dictated demands to her about the Iraq coalition and international/European economics and trade, and that Merkel was surprised and unhappy. Merkel had supposedly been willing to offer some token help with the Iraq war, but during the meeting decides to refuse any more German assistance. It's been downhill ever since, since she actually has a lick of sense, unlike Berlosconi. She has been through Communism in Eastern Europe, is highly educated and has practiced moderation and compromise throughout her career and is not one of those Bavarian right wing nut jobs in the Christian Democrats.

The Peter Principle Renamed

In psychology, the four stages of competence relate to the psychological states involved in the process of progressing from incompetence to competence in a skill:

Unconscious incompetence
The individual neither understands or knows how to do something, nor recognizes the deficit or has a desire to address it.

This stage is the most appropriate level of competence exhibited by the current President of the USA - Therefore it is suggested that it be named forever as the "Bush Syndrome"
Whereas in most examples of humans demonstrating this syndrome - onlookers allow for a little understanding. In this case, the mentally challenged person should be removed to a place where he can no longer be a danger to society, (Guantanamo?)
