Warning Congressional Republicans that "driving a wedge between themselves and the President" is not a good election strategy and that "angry" Democratic voters are likely to turn out in high numbers this year, pollster Jan van Lohuizen's memo to Ken Mehlman sounds more like a death knell than strategy.

He goes on to warn those daring Republicans who attempt to depart from the president that saving their own necks as the ship goes down probably won't work because: "The President is seen universally as the face of the Republican Party. We are now brand W. Republicans. The following chart shows the extremely close correlation between the President's image and overall ratings of the party." Almost makes you feel bad. But not really. TITANIC MORON

I loved what Sen. Schumer said yesterday - that replacing Andrew (joker) Card with his ex-assistant was like 'rearragning deck chairs on the Titanic'. Even if the moron replaced everyone in his cabal of crooks and liars, nothing could reverse the course he has set in his teeny teeny tiny mind for our country. Forging ahead with his warped vision thingy is his only salvation cause there ain't no way in hell he's gonna ever admit a mistake. He's not built that way, as his proud momma has instilled in him the pride of a priveleged prince and his daddy passed onto him , with careful rigging and bribery, the keys to the kingdom. It's up to the masses, finally realizing what a total fool he is, how embarrassed he makes us feel as our official mouthpiece around the world when he opens that smirkly mouth and fumfas around for just the wrong words to describe whatever ridiculous point he is trying to make. 3 more years of him is too much to take, so we must elect enough progressives in Nov. to retake at least congress and start investigating the money trail, starting with the war profiteering, and keep him in legal-limbo so he won't have the power to do us more damage.
