Cheney Orchestrated Public Response to Plame Leak

Cheney orchestrated public response to Plame leak:

A document filed in federal court this week by the Justice Department offers new evidence that former vice president Richard B. Cheney helped steer the Bush administration's public response to the disclosure of Valerie Plame Wilson's employment by the CIA and that he was at the center of many related administration deliberations.

...A list of at least seven related conversations involving Cheney appears in a new court filing approved by Obama appointees at the Justice Department.

And here's more SHOCKING news: Former Bush administration officials assert that the contents must remain secret, and—surprise!—the Obama administration agrees! Hopey changey!

In the filing, the officials argue that the substance of what Cheney told special prosecutor Patrick J. Fitzgerald in 2004 must remain secret.

No such agreement was reached between Fitzgerald and Cheney at the time of their chat, according to a 2008 Fitzgerald letter to lawmakers. But the Bush administration rejected requests by Congress and a nonprofit group for access to two FBI accounts of the conversation, saying the material was exempt from disclosure under subpoena or the Freedom of Information Act.

The Obama administration has since agreed that the material should not be disclosed. A Justice Department lawyer at one point last month argued that vice presidents and other White House officials will decline to be interviewed in the future if they know their remarks might "get on 'The Daily Show' " or be used as fodder for political enemies.

Exactly. How can someone who wants to be a leader of the free world be expected to withstand being teased by Jon Stewart?! Oh, the HUMANITY!

I officially quit the world.

Digg!

Treason, I believe, is what Cheney did.

A Frontline documentary a few years ago revealed Cheney 'may' have been the instigator of the White House campaign against CIA agent Valerie Plame and her husband former Ambassador Wilson. Why did the White House attack such respected officials? Wilson wrote an OpEd in the NYT just before the invasion of Irag the White House didn't like. An OpEd that flatly stated that President Bush was wrong about Iraq obtaining 'yellow cake' uranium from Niger, in Africa.

To discredit Wilson, Cheney supposedly lead an attack on his wife. That's Cheney for ya.

Understand, V. Plame was an important undercover CIA operative. Under US law, revealing the identity of a CIA agent is treason.

Goes to show, the Bush/Cheney Administration was completely lawless and didn't care who they hurt in their madness for power.

But what does the Obama Administration refusing to release them show .How FN lame they might ridiculed on TV and thus refuse to testify in future .
Bill Clinton was a sitting President and yet he was compelled by the courts to testify in a Civil case . So why can't the Court FORCE the Chief Executive to testify before a Congressional Committee and require it to be UNDER OATH .No more interviews

"Libby told the FBI it was possible that Cheney ordered him to reveal Plame's identity to the media."

Libby is on the record with the FBI saying
that Cheney masterminded the
outing of a covert CIA Agent,

Sounds like TREASON to me!

WHY IS OBAMA
covering this up?

Investigating and yapping about the Plame affair is just a waste of time. Nobody really cares except people who have always hated Cheney. And as the years roll by, even they don't care.

What is multitudes more important, and far easier to prove, is that the official story about 911 is a lie, and that Cheyney has been part of that lie. AND, that the Obama administration is part of the coverup!

Why are you afraid to go to the 911 truth story, but will waste time and effort on this useless information? Who keeps you off of the big story? Yourself? I hope you DO realize that we have a lot of evidence that proves 911 is a lie. I hope you have at least spent some time looking into the 911 truth movement and the excellent work done by David Ray Griffin, Keven Ryan, Steven Jones, and Richard Gage, along with others. These are great Americans, and they have done great stuff, but the media simply will not present their enormously important information.

When will some journalists finally do their job, be responsible and honest, and present 911 truth?

The ONLY time they sell any one of their scumbag club down the river if ONLY for political gain.
Not a one of these pieces of garbage from busshit to obama is not part of THEM.

Not one of us human beings of America is part of THEM.

I replied to someone here that, at 70, I probably will not be around to see it however, America WILL TOTALLY collapse and self destruct.
Even though some things were better back in the time of MY America, it was NEVER truly about the human beings of America.
It has ALWAYS been about THEM.

You people who will live long enough to see it are fucked.

So any amateur Sherlock can understand two things...

1) They are building up the case...
2) Forget about it !

I 'hope' the prize is behind door No1 ;)

Reality check on appearances...

“It’s here that the American dream decided it liked the taste of the vomit it was chocking on. Just rolled over on its back and screamed for more drugs. it didn't die.“ - Warren Ellis

I'm afraid Gonzo nailed it...

"We have become a monster in the eyes of the whole world – a nation of bullies and bastards who would rather kill than live peacefully. We are not just whores for power and oil, but killer whores with hate and fear in our hearts. We are human scum, and that is how history will judge us… No redeeming social value. Just whores. Get out of our way, or we’ll kill you." – Hunter S. Thompson

As the sitting VP, OF COURSE Cheney would be involved in whatever the administration was doing. SOFUKINWHAT? NO crime was committed.
Plame was NOT a covert operative and was NOT illegally exposed. Fitzgerald said so. The only "crime" committed was Libby was "inconsistent" in his story about what he told to whom. Wilson was a lier, even the WashPost said so.

I didn't think Obama, the self-proclaimed centrist, would be marvelous - give our experiences with Clinton and centrism.... But I didn't expect to be this disappointed this early. Yeah, the guy can talk - that and 75 cents will get you downtown in Santa Monica.... If someone in the Democratic party doesn't grow a spine soon - we'll be back in Bush land in 2012 with Jeb Bush or Sarah Palin and then we will all die horrible deaths by drowning, dehydration or starvation as the planet becomes inhospitable. Where the rich are planning to live if the planet will not sustain human life beats me.... I know they think of themselves as god like and above the laws of man... but the laws of science don't recognize the difference between rich and poor - just as HIV can't tell the difference between gay and straight. The oligarchs and their families might take longer to die out, but die out they will.

Former Vice President Cheney

is a complex, disengenuous man. Here are two examples of his mental state: 1)A number of years ago, before his election to the vice presidency, he was asked how was it that he got 5 deferments from serving in the military? His answer? "I had other better things to do."
2)When informed that a substantial majority of Americans disapprove of the invasion of Iraq, his answer was, "So?"

We have nobody to blame but ourselves! We elected him 2 times in a row, along with his buddy!

If you could for a moment consider this unfolding history an image. A building 47 stories high, for instance. That this building is the structure of the past - lets say - 10 years of event.Or maybe abit earlier. Lets say bedrock PNAC.
This structure is held together by the nuts and bolt events, stories, interactive secrets, the actions bit by byte of the past 10 years .The Plame affair is on one floor, in one corner. column 79. level 13?
Cheney snapping his head around saying "of course the order still stands! Have you heard anything different!?!"bolts girder 13th floor, column 7.
The strange disappearance of Barry Jennings , say level 6, stairwell connection. The E4B over the White House, well...that never happened, so that is level 23, cold connection in the man sized safe under 'national security'.

Everything held together by everything else.
That means everybody has got to hold hands, like bush and the goat. Hold hands children.

Our belief is that building.
But one thing 911 has taught us, c/o NIST itself. Little fires, in the right place at the right time can bring big buildings down very quickly. Especially in the USA [the only place it has ever happened] It is true that due to a newly discovered formula discovered by NIST called 'thermal expansion.tm', whole structures 47 stories high can sequentially collapse at rapid speed [6.5 seconds is the record]. That if an "office furnishings fire".tm should corrupt even ONE of those connections.... enough heat should get to the bolts holding one girder of that fabrication to one column of that central story, and the bolt gives, then within 7 seconds that entire structure will come down. Unaided.
By itself.

Plame to Anderson?yellow cake/aluminium rods[terror alert Saddam has nukes] to Niger to...oops.... no WMD findings in Niger? no corroboration to WMD fabrications necessary to cover the pearly white IRAQWAR lies all swimming in the big pool of LIE called 9 1 1 oops I mean 'wonderful_usa_democracy.com' that gave us...... Obama...oops.......... dial 9 1 1

keep holding hands children.

How is anything ever going to CHANGE if you corrupt politians keep covering up, letting off the hook, or giving Pardons to every DISHONEST CORRUPT MAN. Just keeps the truth that the "MILITARY INDUSTRIAL CONGRESSIONAL COMPLEX" has control of America. You Politians know who you are. What all of you are doing is Treason and Betral. So much for Morals or Values. The Phoney Christian right and left, makes no difference, your all on the take.
