Ever since Iran’s disputed presidential elections this month, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) has been a ubiquitous presence on TV, slamming President Obama’s response to the crisis and trying to pump up his own profile. This morning on C-Span’s Washington Journal, a caller asked Rep. Todd Akin (R-MO) why anyone should listen to McCain. Akin suggested that the GOP has already tuned him out:

CALLER: Why is [McCain] considered a leader? … Why is his point of view so important, and why should Obama listen to him? [...]

AKIN: I don’t know that McCain is that influential within the Republican Party per se.

Watch it:

Yesterday, a reporter asked President Obama whether McCain’s criticisms of his handling of the Iran situation had “influenced” him at all. “What do you think?” Obama replied:

I think John McCain has genuine passion about many of these international issues, and I think that all of us share a belief that we want justice to prevail. But only I’m the President of the United States, and I’ve got responsibilities in making certain that we are continually advancing our national security interests and that we are not used as a tool to be exploited by other countries.

Is McCain Senile or does he think the entire country is?
Please if SongBird and his 'End of Day' cronies had their way WE would have been the ones who painted the streets of Iran with blood-"Bomb bomb Bomb Iran". Not only committing an Atrocity, but facilitated the Recruitment of multitudes of Terrorist hell bent on attacking US again!
McCain is nothing more than a Pavolian War Dog who seeks to instigate any type of conflict to pad his 'Glory Story' Resume (and his war profiteers profit margins). Not only are there serious question about his Vietnam claims- there are serious questions about how his group helped build the Fledgling terrorist network and it's leader Bin Laden- Still sending Boots? Or does he deliver them himslef to Binny's Palace called "Hell". Do tell SongBird why have you not enlightened This Administration either about 'how to catch Bin laden', Since you claimed to "KNOW" so many times on the campaign trail. Even more Curious is the fact that only days after the Anthrax attacks here, Johnny Boy also 'KNEW' the Biological Came from Saddam. It took time to discover the DNA signature of that strain which led straight to our miliatary base. Only recently has any one (periodically) admitted The US supplied Saddam with that WMD to help his war effort against Iran (but used on the Kurds). How was McCain So 'In the Loop' on that one? McCain is just as guilty of selling an illegal invasion into iraq as Cheney!
Even more disturbing, was having the hell bent Armegeddonist Hagee standing off his Right Flank on the Campaign Trail. Hagee wants to sacrific the israelis' so he and his sociopathic followers can catch the Rapture Bus. Pre-emptively Striking Iran would have resulted in a direct attack on Israel First. Let's not forget these 'Holey' Rollers only have enough Golden bus tickets for 144,000 COVERTED Jews- apparently the rest are going to be fucked like the other non- indoctrinated. Hagee is a sociopathic meglomaniac who had McCains right ear!
Talk about a Manchurain Candidate-McCain even said he's love to have Cheney in his Cabinet!!! McCain is not just insane, he's a Wolf in Sheeps clothing- hiding behind a false 'war hero' record, while screwing this country every chance he got over the last few decades- Keating 5 Johnny boy??
I dont' see McCain as a War hero unless we mean that he's been a hero for the other side- He's a damn traitor in everything he has done.

John McCain is a bitter old man who cannot accept the fact that a BLACK MAN is the President of these United States.

He is wasting the years he has left destroying whatever legacy was he is supposed to have built. He has not offered a single solid solution to any of the problems we face in this country. That is because he has no solutions. His goal is to try to undermine President Obama in any way he can.

With the assistance of what passes for main-stream media.
