Neither Cheney nor the 72 % have a clue as to the safety of the US today compared to during Bush/Cheney watch 2000-2008.

One thing we know that there has been no terrorist attack om mainland USA, US embassy or any US installation outside Iraq or Afghanistan.

If such an attack should occur under Obama/Biden's watch Cheney's observation will be correct, we will not have been as safe as under Cheney/Bush

My opinion is that the danger is from the scorned neoconservatives themselves if they see themselves in danger of prosecution, of having their policies reversed, or of their stolen wealth seized. Cheney has threatened that the U.S. would be attacked on numerous occasions if the little farts didn't get their way. It seems to me that if there IS another attack on U.S. soil that the first suspects to look at should be Cheney and his gang of international gangsters.

I would like to ask that the poll be named, or linked if possible. Probably an oversight but sourcing is important to me.

Specifically I want to know if there was an 'equal to' side of the question. I've read poll-interpretations -on other polls- on this site that took liberties with the poll's intentions. I should add that I usually agreed with the liberties, but I would still like to see it for myself. I would have answered "equally safe as under Bush" considering the disturbing record of this administration in such a short time.

Most Americans believe the official story of 9/11, the story Cheyney told us.
It is a ridiculous story, full of holes, easy to crush with facts.
But most people don't know the facts.
And that is because the US media, including alternative media, has censored itself about the real story of 9/11.
It has been seven and a half years since 9/11, and Alternet hasn't had one decent story about all that has come out refuting 9/11. They have presented some articles insulting 9/11 truth, and a "debate" which gave some information but contradicted everything said about 9/11 truth. But no good informational articles about the great works by investigating patriots like David Ray Griffin, Kevin Ryan, Steven Jones, Richard Gage, and others.
Great stuff, ready and already written to be presented by Alternet.
This stuff is becoming known around the world. And he world realizes that the US government was complicit in the attacks.
But not here in the US, because we aren't shown what has been learned about 9/11. Americans must go to obscure websites for the truth, and that leads Americans to feel that that information is fringe and sketchy, and so they don't read it with an open mind.

It is time for a thorough presentation of all of the responsible 9/11 truth work. Many articles, lots of graphs and pictures and analysis. It is the duty of journalists to do this.

Our future depends on it. Because, as you read in this article, our future policies depend on what we understand happened that fateful day. And we DON'T understand what REALLY happened.

What they are really after is for the US to submit to the will of the UN and it's International criminal court. What they want is for the US to relinquish it's SOVEREIGNTY relagating WE THE PEOPLE of the US to the status of servants to the UN INSTEAD of being governed by WE THE PEOPLE

THIS would for example entail that any USA person could be apprehended by local Muslim authorities for an offense, real or imagined slammed into the ICC and flown to the Hage, netherlands where they would rot for months waiting for trial and done ENTIRELY without due process. they would get not trial and no confronting of accusers, No protection from double jeopardy and no unanimous verdict for a conviction.

Long and short of it----the ICC MEMBERS have declared themselves IMMUNE form "personal arrest or detention, Legal process of every kind and immigration restrictions.

Oh then then lastly, the "salaries, emoluments and allowances" of the judges prosecutor deputy prosecutor and the registras of the ICC ARE EXEMPT from taxaition.

Every time I see that sneering piece of excretement (Cheney), it makes me angry all over again that that criminal still is not in prison.

That person has openly admitted to violations of Fed-Law, the US-Constitution, Foreign Treaties, not to mention the least evidence of human capacity, we need begin (yesterday) his trial for "Crimes Against Humanity."
