ABC News reports that President-elect Obama "has decided to name former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers the director of the National Economic Council, essentially the president's senior economic adviser." Also today, Obama named his campaign spokesperson Robert Gibbs as White House press secretary and Ellen Moran of Emily's List as communications director.

From what I've read about Larry Summers I am none too happy with him as a chief Econmic advisor .
From what I remember he was given Carte Blanche to run the Ukraine's Economy and did such a horrendous that they voted in the Communists . Hardly sounds like a guy who should be giving economic advice to anyone . I loved the idea of Robert Reich so this is TRUE disappointment
