Left wing comedian Lee Camp recently appeared on Fox News, I actually have no idea why, but before the anchor could sign off to go to commercial Camp unleashed an accurate, biting slam on Fox which left his host virtually speechless. "Fox News is a parade of propaganda. It's just a festival of ignorance," says Camp. Hilariously, Fox cuts from his remarks to a promo for a segment on "the ladies of Star Trek." You can't make this stuff up. Check out the video to your right for more.

Laura Flanders: Vanity Fair's Retort to the New Yorker's Obama Cover Misses the Mark
If Vanity Fair wanted to flip the New Yorker cover on the GOP, they'd have to portray the media's lies about the candidate. Not the true stuff.

i think more people should take advantage of FoxNews when it's LIVE and ambush them like this.

just curious: i saw this last night and was searching for clips that show the whole thing. what happened before this footage? anyone know? it seems like Lee was pretty frustrated with something.

Fox's "Star Trek" outro piece

So the flustered anchor throws it to his colleague who introduces the upcoming segment which has a Star Trek angle. Claims the book they'll discuss was written by "Bones" aka Dr. McCoy.

FYI Dr. McCoy dead for years. Fox can't even get their trivia right.

God-dam.

The dead write books?

I'm glad others caught the bit about "Bones" writing a new book . . . I could hardly believe my ears at the end of this piece. So, I did the obvious -- I googled bones and star trek. Sure enough, DeForrest Kelly died in 1999. Does this mean I could have a job on Faux News? Or, maybe the big news is that the dead can write books?!

Vilifying Fox News misses the larger picture

Liberals love to hate on Fox News and lambast it as disseminating propaganda. There's one huge flaw here though - most people overlook the fact that NO NEWS CHANNEL transcends sociopolitical paradigms, that there is no such thing as being objective, balanced, or apolitical. Fox's slogan of "fair and balanced" is ironic - its self conscious of the fact that it is conservative. It sees itself as a counterweight to liberal bias in the media. Of course, any sane progressive knows that CNN, MSNBC, et al are all guilty of sensationalism, legitimizing violence by the way they frame things, siding with govt, etc. Wake up and realize that they all spit propaganda, just choose the one you like best. Me, I avoid corporate news, because I prefer coherent and rational analysis which isn't bound to media ratings and an entertainment factor. Also, I think mainstream is situated far too much to the right for me.

Let's face it - conservative American news media is pure comedy gold. The bigger the crack pot,(Bill O'Reilly), the funnier it becomes.

i just love how just put it out.
he is right many people have to go with their families and get away from "the reality"
i do also believe that media and government are using terror tactics to get the people scarred and make other people seem bad. like osama... how come we dont hear about him anymore?
what ever happend? did he get caught? killed?
i believe it was a lie. just to get people scarred and make people ask for security.
...when i believe security=imprisonment

...then again, im only 16; what do i know?

Lee Camp is my hero! He's probably the only person to go on Fox Noise and tell them what many of us have always wanted someone to have the guts to tell them: that they are crypto-fascist bozos. Now, guess who will NEVER be invited to go on Fox again?

Walid Shoebat, frequent guest of Mr. Bill, author of "Why We Want to Kill You", a darling of fear filled fundamentalist Christians and Jews of the cult spewed by the likes of John Hagee and the idiot wind also blown on FOX's Hannity & Colmes, and Neil Cavuto show, was in my hometown Monday night.

Nearly every one of the 2,000 seats at The King Center in Brevard County was filled with fannies attached to American fundamentalists [a fundamentalist is anyone who has quit thinking] who paid $18.00 for a seat and upwards of $1,000.OO to attend the pre-show meet and greet with the 'three stooges' of fundamentalism at the "WAKE UP AMERICA! Confessions of 3 X-Terrorists" show.

"Walid Shoebat, Kamal Saleem and Zachariah Anani [who was a no show last night] are the three stooges of the Christian right. These self-described former Muslim terrorists are regularly trotted out at Christian colleges…to spew racist filth about Islam on behalf of groups such as Focus on the Family…Curly, Larry and Mo, who all say they are born-again Christians, engage in hate speech and assure us it comes from personal experience. They tell their audiences that the only way to deal with one-fifth of the world's population is by converting or eradicating all Muslims." http://www.truthdig.com/

As usual. This is just one more reminder of the absymal ignorance of our people, and our crying need for a completely rebuilt and reinvigorated public educational system, as opposed to the fradulent "no child left behind" fiasco.
