This is what’s it’s like when world’s collide. Did you ever think you’d see the day when Amy Goodman’s name would be mentioned on a daytime talk show? The apocalypse must be closer than I thought. Maybe next we’ll get to see Noam Chomsky on Dancing with the Stars.

Do you think Amy Goodman made Philbin think?

Self-disclosure and confession by one of the kings of mainstream-media entertainment and intellectually non-stimulating corporatist TV, albeit it tongue-in-cheek, of the mundane and uninspiring nature of what he produces.

Unfortunately, he's laughing all the way to the bank.

Quote "we do nothing, nothing!" how true. I am glad they recognize that their show is frivolous!! And, as the poster before me mentioned, laughing all the way to the bank...yes, however --VERY GOOD that he plugs Democracy Now, maybe, just maybe others will tune into her show. We can only hope.

At what Regis and company does, he's one of the best,

and I will say the same about Amy Goodman. It's a shame tht they haven't become aware of one another until now. Let's hope that these two giant talents can combine.

I was an avid fan of the first portion of Regis' show, especially when he was teamed with Kathie Lee Gifford.

of ignorant America. Maybe some good will come of it? Will Regis interview Naomi Klien?

Regis, Dennis Miller, Phil Donohue and Amy Goodman

Phil Donohue would support Amy Goodman. They are both staunch anti this Bush family, Repub Party, right wing religion Repub Party.

Now Dennis Miller is a staunch Republican and Regis, well who knows because he is so noncomittal in this piece. But he did give Amy some publicity so he may be
one of us, at least to some extent.

He used her name several times and plugged a show on PBS that she does, but never specifically gave the name "Democracy Now!".
